They could still tie this into the MCU quite easily. In Wandavision they mentioned trouble with Astronauts, which could be the Fantastic Four getting lost in another universe, and it wouldn't matter how long they're in the other universe, time could move differently there. So what was only a few years in the MCU, could be much longer in that universe.

Take Carol Danvers as Captain Marvel-she’s introduced as a planetary-level powerhouse, but later, they tone her down in ways that feel inconsistent. I never agreed with galactics being the main villain because he should be a big bad of a whole saga. Since he is, this movie better end with galactics winning. I think what happens is the fantastic 4 realizes that there is no saving there universe, they get recruited by the TVA. Dr. Doom, galactics & the fantastic 4 all get transferred to a different universe. Reed Richards help them figure out how to safe or restore the multiverse. Galactics and silver surfer will be back later on, many years down the line to be the villans and the big bad of the next phase. Dr. Doom will next be seen in Doctor Strange 3 or doomsday. I like the plot, except Franklin shouldn't be a baby. He should be 10 years old and that Silver Surfer should be Norrin Radd, not a unnecessary girl Silver Surfer. And "death" isn't necessarily in the MCU. Same with trash Agatha and the rest and I hope none of them ever return in the MCU.
