This still came on TV during the early 90's. Didn't watch the show that much, but I heard the theme song a lot. Possibly because it came on during the time I was suppose to be getting ready for school.

I remember watching cartoons before the bus in the morning. If we ever had school delays from snow, this was in bonus time cartoon territory.

Damn, that intro is one groovy tune ;-) Also, the actual program had very good animation and dialogue. So, don't miss out on trying out this show because it is on the Cartoon Network channel- Boomerang. It's currently on at 10:30 a.m. and will be there probably for at least the entire month of June.

Correct. Warner Bros. Entertainment, parent company of Hanna-Barbera, is going to add Dumping Jack Trash (Fantastic Max) to MultiVersus (video game) as a playable character (in his ultra instinct form), fighting alongside Steven Universe.

As with Looney Tunes and the rest of Hanna-Barbera's library, this show was one of the many, many re-runs I used to watch on Cartoon Network in its early years. Too bad it didn't last long, but then again that seemed to be Hanna-Barbera's MO for whatever wasn't a clone of The Flintstones or Scooby Doo (i.e. Swat Kats, The Pirates of Dark Water). Who wouldn't want to be able to make a rocket out of a sandbox and take off into space on a regular basis like Max?

There's a website called 'TV shows on DVD' but this is one of the cartoons there never is much demand for. People preferred the old version of this cartoon, namely Superted, where they used Texas Pete before Dumping Jack Trash.

AH! SOMEONE'S mentioned this cartoon's predecessor! If you see the whole of this video and see that blue skinned guy who wears black clothes and is a garbage man, namely Dumping Jack Trash, HE is the character in this show who replaced Texas Pete, when Superted phased out and was replaced by THIS cartoon (though when Max, AB, FX and a seahorse get sucked into a black hole when going near the rocket, Max says 'Hey, couch potato! Change the channel. Watch SUPERTED.')
