Thank you for both showing these locations and bolstering my confidence in snaring fox. I’ve caught a lot of canines in foot traps but snaring is the wave of the future for me. Having the confidence to try these trails with something other than dog proofs only comes from good instruction. You certainly did that with this video. This is an excellent video!

Good video Dale, you break it down and make it easy to understand. I hope young and new trappers are finding your videos. Do you remember how we learned? It wasn't this available.

No it sure wasn't this easy back in the day Jeff. Even my dad wouldn't tell me much because he was afraid I'd be catching fur that he could be. I appreciate you watching buddy. Thank you

I wish that someone would have given me some snares first instead of footholds sometimes, That way I had to learn to use them. I find myself coming into a place a setting a bunch of footholds when I should be using snares. What about anchoring snares Dale? Will a good extension cable and t-bar work good for those bigger animals. I got really hot and frustrated using fencing nails 😂

Kevin I just put them on a disposable stake. I have no problem holding them that way. Yes snares are a fantastic tool. Thank you for watching

Might want to tell folks what size wire/ cable, whammy, swivel and anchor you prefer and the shortcomings of the type you don't use. Ever catch any of your own dogs in your preferred snare as some may be interested. AS ALWAYS it shows your experience which is worth a lot.......the mike

Yes Mike you're absolutely right I should've said all that in this video. But as I did say in this video, I've been over this information several times in other videos in my playlist. And yes I've caught my dogs several times in snares. That's how you snare break them to trails. It's gets very interesting after you have caught them a few times. Thank you for watching
