I always wondered why my black lab always done that, and usually 4- 6 feet away. Learned something new this morning, thanks!

Very interesting Dale. My son's dog Junior was a king-sized male Yellow Lab and did the kickback every single time he dropped a load in the woods. He never did it after me urinated. I always thought it was a primal instinct to attempt to hide their presence in the area. Your explanation makes more sense with spreading pad scent. I always ran Junior with my male Springer Junior. They were two hard-headed males and their marking with urine in the woods was comical. If Junior marked a tree, Murphy had to immediately pee on top of it and vice versa. Scott

Hey Dale the other day when you did that vid on eating Nutria we talked back and forth a little so I tried a muskrat me my brother and his son and we all gave it a thumbs up we've done thousands over the years but have never ate one.My brother has a fur buying and handling business he handles a lot of coyotes if you need some pads or glands for your lures he could mabe help you out he has buyers for his skunk quill and rat glands but I don't think anyone is buying his coyote glands right now.But if you haven't tried rat yet it is good have a good season

Chub I like muskrat but it's very rich so a little goes a long way. Yes I'm interested in some coyote glands. If you're on Facebook reach out to me. Thank you for watching

Very interesting, I have often wondered how I might get an idea of how any fur bearer works. Rather K9 or beaver or any other animal for that matter. Observation seems to be the best way to figure these guys out. Thanks Dale

Great channel. Love the content. Top notch work. Question. What lure do you think might be best to help me locate more coyotes in the PNW. Just hoping to get a few more working a trail like they use too. The dogs are around. Just noy using the same trails. They haven't been over trapped or worked. Just seems like they decided they go another way. Any tips would be great. Thank you again for all you do for us ❤️. Always great information

Vopenacattleco go cat trap your December coyotes. December coyotes just suck!! They move into the thick brush where the bobcats are this time of year. The reason why is because happiness is a large gut pile. Deer season just ended in most places. The gut piles and cripples are in the brush. Coyotes know this. Plus they know if they hang out in the open too long they're going to get shot or shot at. Thank you for watching. I hope this helps some
@vopenacattleco you're welcome. Same to you and yours.

Welcome back Dale hope you had a great holiday. Are you suggesting setting 2 traps maybe 1 (6”) or so back from the scent post and another set about 6-8’? Would you recommend a flat set for both. Thanks for sharing keep up the good work!

Thank you Jeff. Yes we do. I honestly believe I'm the only one who abides by it though. We have some unethical folks here that take their dogs to the cemetery to run. That ain't right!!!
