Many times, right after I watch one of your videos, I end up my workshop. This time was another one of these instances. I went, picked up a piece of chestnut and a knife and made my own "Gandalf". As it was a first one it took me a bit more than 15 minutes, but I will practice to get there 😁 Many thanks for the inspiration ♥

Why is my basswood always harder than yours? Nice carvings Andy and explaining the cuts is really useful. Mine would probably end up as 2 or 3 hour cross eyed wizards with wonky beards. Are you demo-ing at Stock Gaylard in August?

It doesn't matter about the length of time or the result, just how much fun you had making it... No... I hadn't heard of Stock Gayland before I looked it up... Looks like fun though...
