I'm surprised at how few comments there are to this video .. Laura was a hugely talented and beautiful singer with an amazing voice, and she recorded some very memorable hit songs in her career ( "Gloria", "Self Control", "Ti Amo" etc ) .. While IMHO this one wasn't her best material, it was still quite good .. Melodic, dancey, and a cool video to go with it .. Nice reaction , Harri.👍

This just screams 80’s!!! I’m not a huge fan of the eighties/disco era but Laura Branigan is a delightful exception. Thanks Harri and Andre🌸💐✌️

Hi Harri. I was a big Laura Branigan fan and felt she was very underrated. She had a huge voice especially in songs like The Power of Love, Solitaire and Over You.

Andre, this submission of Laura Brannigan highlights her beautiful voice, as does the rest of her cut-short songbook. Her emergence on the music scene was the hit "Gloria, showcased in the movie Flashdance. I could listen to her sing all day and night. She quit music to take care of her husband, who had advanced colon cancer. Laura was unable to return to her music career due to a very rare and sadly fatal disease. Great submission choice and an overheated review by our master of ceremonies, Harri.

Check out Ti Amo and Forever Young by Laura B, these songs do a wonderful job showing off her voice and range.

You are so right Harri, the video does have similarities with the “Beat It” video. I’ve never seen this video before, nice find!
