Bravo! Outstanding rendition of National Emblem march - an all-time favorite here in the States! I have played that as a member of our local firemen’s band for 60 years.

Them and the Scots Guards always have the best sound. Band of the Irish Guards have the best marching discipline in my own opinion.

Once again! I'm watching this Changing Guards one more time! When the musical support is the excellent Irish Guards Band (the Best Band!) and the SDM is the Mythical Gareth Chambers, there is always something special in the air, a special day in Windsor! Also the marches played have a special sound, so powerful as the National Emblem! Unmissable, they are my favorites, Band SDM marches and their Blue Plumes! Thank you very much M.E. for sharing this special video!!

You can tell that security guard at the beginning was never in band. Getting on the correct LEFT -- LEFT --- LEFT RIGHT LEFT is as logical as breathing. I don't get the excessive pounding on the bass drum.
@youtubeaccount5738Ай бұрын
The bass drum's excessive pounding is for the troops at the back to follow the pace.
@exploreraa98321 күн бұрын
The intense and constant drum cadences are characteristic of military bands-- to keep march pace, but also the bass carries to the microphone with little loss.

Or is he armed? Hard to see with his arms folded on his chest. Looked like he was cradling a weapon...
@iancivil2370Ай бұрын
No he isn’t as he would have a side arm and a weapon across his front, which you would see 🙂
