Fantasy Football VALUES?! Are Xavier Lagette & Ricky Pearsall Worth Their Rookie ADP?

Ray & JRich discuss two of the more polarizing players from the 2024 NFL Draft, Xavier Lagetter, who was drafted by the Carolina Panthers, and Ricky Pearsall, who was drafted by the San Fransisco 49ers. In the case of Lagette, there is clearly one wide receiver ahead of him, and playing in what was one of the worst offenses last year won't help his value. That doesn't mean he isn't a great selection in the 2nd round. In the case of Pearsall, his rookie ADP is the result of Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel still being firmly at the top of the target depth chart. Despite being a 1st round pick, he's still very attainable in 2024 rookie drafts. Ray and JRich discuss the potential opportunity for both players and their potential as Fantasy Football Values, along with where they project them to be and their outlook beyond 2024.

The team that drafted and developed Aiyuk, Kittle and Deebo, yea we don’t trust them. What the heck do they know! I know this makes things too simple but you want Pearsall. This is dynasty and he’s going to be the WR2 for the Niners next year. So you get a starter as soon as Aiyuk or Deebo get injured and you get a starter next year.

This coming season even if Deebo or Aiyuk get hurt at best he is the 4th option in the offense. Deebo/Aiyuk, CMC, Kittle all still will get more touches even. Only thing that will keep his value up this year will be that he plays for the 49ers.

Difference is you’re gonna see Legette this season and how he is used in the offense. If you don’t like it you have the ability to get out and re-roll. Jennings also got a new extension and the targets to go around aren’t there.

Legette and Pearsall are 2 years older than Odunze. They are both slow as molasses. Odunze dominates, is athletic, and can work 3 levels of the field. How is that comparison even close to a conversation?
