FANTASY FOREST FESTIVAL, Surviving a Heatwave in Costume and Corsets at a UK Ren Faire!

In this video we visit Fantasy Forest Festival which was a magical, fairytale weekend at the UK’s closest equivalent to a Renaissance Faire (plus extra Sci fi for good measure!) with live music, fabulous costumes and a good smattering of history set against the magnificent backdrop of Sudely Castle. We explored the beautiful English gardens, admired the atmospheric ruins of the castle partly destroyed during the Civil War, saw the tomb of Henry VIII’s last wife Katherine Parr and watched an enchanting wicker fire ceremony, burning an effigy of the phoenix to symbolise a new beginning now that these kind of fabulous events can start happening again. It was also the hottest weekend of the year and we managed to survive the festival in full costume and corsetry. There was so much to see and do so we hope this video offers a little useful info and some renfaire tips if you are planning your own visit to a festival or event in costume.
