@@pammiller4210 yes, it comes together fast and it's getting hard on my old hands, but it's worth it in the end. My friends and family love it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.... Merry Christmas!!

Glad to see you melt the butter to cook with the sugar. I have made my fudge using the same technique for decades.. it always works. I cook mine to 234, soft ball. Your video was a s success in showing the beaten fudge going from shiny to dull. Great video.

Someone gave me a tip to put the marshmallow in first, before the chocolate chips and it makes it smoother.

The most intimidating thing at first is trying to make sure the temp and time is right when you are boiling the sugar, butter, milk mixture....but other than that as long as you have ingredients ready to go and buttered pan ready, it really is simple.....after you make it the first time, you will see how easy it is and get a feel for it......my mother made this every year at Christmas and everyone always loved it and they would beg her to bring some to work every year. When I was doing the video, I thought maybe I was a little off on my timing but after it set and I cut it, the consistency was perfect and creamy...not too soft and not too dry. I hope you try it sometime. Thanks for watching and commenting!! Caren

@@ccjohnson6798 Hi Caren, I agree about getting the sugar to the right boiling point. If the sugar isn't boiled long enough, the fudge just isn't right. You certainly got it right. I would not be able to do the stirring anymore so I would have to use sweetened condensed milk instead of the sugar and milk. I enjoyed the video and was happy to do so thank you!
