As soon as you began tinting the octopus the rust colour (the “blood”, as you say), I thought how similar it looked to the Giant Pacific Octopus, my next door neighbour of sorts, and was so happy! Then you said you wanted to destroy it! Haha, oh no! The Giant Pacific Octopus is such a gorgeous octo, and she is such a tremendous mama to her babies! Check out a video about how she treats her babies before they are ‘born’. She plays them like a harp with all her arms to keep them healthy & oxygenated - so sweet! Was featured in a David Attenborough documentary, and it’s such a mesmerizing scene! Your lovely octo turned out so beautifully, and you are such a skilled handmaker! Your videos are delightfully charming. Thank you! ^-^

I love the tutorial and you explanation for changes that were made. most tutorials do not show that kind of stuff and I think it helps others with their learning process! great job and keep up the videos! BTW I much prefer when you talk in your videos because when you had done the no vocal videos I have a hard time reading the words and seeing what you do lol. thanks again for your vids! 😄💕

thank you! this is a great feedback because some hated me voice over the videos so i'm kind of in a debate whether to voice over or not. But I personally do think voice over is a great way to learn but the downside is that not everyone can understand my accent or that they don't speak English.

Can anyone please help me with some advise on how to keep the opal and/or regular translucent clay from yellowing? I usually use translucent white clay that stays pretty clear/non yellow but i tried mixing in some opal to get a similar effect as her octopus head but the tentacles stayed clear when the head is more of a yellow. i thought maybe its just the opal but everyone else I've seen on here doesnt get the yellowing of the opal. i keep my oven temp a bit lower and consistent and even tried changing temps as well as times baking with no luck. any bit of advise would be wonderful and greatly appreciated. Also, this piece turned out amazing btw. as everything else you make. thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talents#

can you just bake the bowl kinda thingy in the oven ?? why doesnt it break or explode or idk catch fire i mean aint it plastic

FreshAcy you can bake glass in the oven as long as you don't put it in a already preheated oven if you do the sudden temperature change will shatter the glass. But if you put the glass piece in the oven while it's preheating it's okay because the glass is adjusting to the heat slowly so the glass won't shatter and once the oven is preheated with the project inside then you can bake it for the proper time ☺
