How To Make a Dragon | Polymer Clay Tutorial

This main purpose of this video is to provide a guide on how to design and create your own dragon or creatures. I don't want you to recreate the exact same dragon I made but to use this video as a way of helping you see my thought and design process so that you will be able to make one of your own.

Materials for the winter dragon:
- aluminum foil for armature
- white and light blue mixed with translucent clay (premo! Sculpey Brand polymer clay)
- blending silicon tools
- needle tool
-pearlx powder
- ball, dotting tools
- flexible blade, x-acto knife
- rolling pin
- super glue

I recently completed a clay project for my ceramics class--we had to develop our own superhero. The way we had to create it is a lot similar to how you explained your tutorial for your dragon. The colored crystals would look awesome in a cave for stalactites hanging from the ceiling and stalagmites growing from the ground. Hidden lights could be placed around the cave to make the crystals create a rainbow effect around the dragon. A gnome could walk through the cave with a torch and mini light as he enters the cavern. I left a comment before the video was finished and discovered your crystal effects. FAVORITE video!
