Here's a suggestion: something that could make the watching experience nicer is putting the players' actual names on top of where it says I|I|I|I|I|I|I|I|I and II||II||II||II|. Don't know if it's just me but it makes it more difficult to follow who's who (esp in mirror matchups). That's in contrast to ASL games which have these nice clear usernames on top.

i believe that modern terrans going for SKT style are not stoppable by ling lurker defiler. you NEED something to threaten vessels with so they don't just irradiate all your gas units, and scourge aren't cutting it. most terrans go for 12 vessels these days or even more, and if zerg can't reduce that vessel count they die. it felt like every time terran got their vessel count up to 10-12 in asl and zerg didn't play the hydra style, they just lost in a 10 minute death animation. so i approve of the hydra lurker defiler style; yes you have less lurkers and defilers, and an ultra switch becomes impossible to finance; but your gas intensive units might actually live to fight and produce value.

Really good game, it felt very technical. Modern StarCraft has certain milestones that you need to win to basically gain advantage points over your opponent. Like the mutas harassment, that’s a clear challenge that you should win if you want to gain an advantage.

It's kind of like a tradition from the early in the 2000s. hide who it is and use it to prevent build leaks. + Famous players get PM spam by trollers, so they use it to prevent it.

Will sound like an ass, but from what i see nowadays from arty is that he often misses big moments in a lot of games like for example runbyes or drops. Now its normal for a single caster to not catch everything that is going on on the map. But sometimes it really feels like arty is loosing himselfe in a lengthy game theory disucssion and completly looses track of the minimap... Don't want to flame but just wanted to give some input. On the other hand he is an old man so maybe thats fine :D. Cheers Arty, keep em coming. Love you.

❤ Artosis is my favorite caster of all games. He does get swept up in the joy of strategy and can miss exciting moments. It's endearing, but I bet he wishes he could catch those moments, too. Artosis, perhaps you could make a habit of mostly looking at the minimap while talking strategy? None of us want you to stop sharing your wisdom of the game.

Love how bad players are these days. One thing that happens are virgins find a date and skip a tourney or 2 or all. I’d “imagine” that’s the case for 99.9% of pro gamers. I, personally, was #1 in the world in sc2 for like 3 months. I won $1,000 in my first tournament, and bailed on nvidia cus I had a date. The tournament was nsl (national StarCraft league), not national star league, which came years after.

Finally a Terran loss, doesnt mean they dont need a nerf: Blizard needs to hire me to balance up the game. And I think Terran dropships are fine as is, so they dont need a nerf. But Terran Siege tanks, medics, and vessels are nerf-worthy.
