Played the demo locally which was fun but the scale of the minis seems odd and a bit of a missed opportunity to do something other than what appears on the surface to be Star Wars 40k. For example the large scale miniatures (32mm-35mm? big anyways) are likely to limit the game to small scale skirmish battles rather than using smaller scale miniatures (say 15mm) to facilitate larger scale battles where you can use a greater variety of vehicles, terrain etc (I'm thinking AT-ATs, Hoth type battles, or end of Rogue One type escapades). I'd also be pissed if I'd invested in Imperial Assault and lovingly painted up the miniatures for that. Selling two very similar lines of miniatures (Imperial Assault and Legion) with a ball hair difference between the scale of the minis making them incompatible seems truly bizarre. Plus put more dice in your boxes, scruffy-looking nerf herders.

Hey FFG is a trooper units courage 1 or is it by mini a full squad would have 6 courage?

I believe Courage is for the whole squad, so troopers have a Courage of 1, not 6.

I hadn't seen this yet, its just plain misleading. If you face only white dice shooting units it is fairly good. Imperials are way beyond using white dice to shoot! Dodge works IF you are fired on, otherwise its useless. Dodge means noting against a critical. While Imperials get a huge asset by distributing aims that are ALWAYS usable. Fleet troopers, what a joke.

Just had an idea for a card game, it’s Star Wars armada the card game, since the board game and mini figures are expensive, it’ll be a trading card game where you buy packs of fleets for either the empire or rebellion and you could make huge fleets, the more rare cards being like home one or imperial star destroyer, whilst the more common are fighter squadrons and ability cards. Would be cool if this was a thing, wanted something like this for YEARS.

(Update) perhaps each individual fighter can be its own card while capital ships could be two or more cards to collect and connect to form the complete design, as to not allow people to obtain ships to easily and there could be a core set just like the board game

that secknd strategybis irrelevant. All the empire player needs tk do is to shoot closer squad. if they jhst roll a hit, they will give a supression token that will cancel a standby. then do this for another unit and then move with the speeder bikes to clear them out.

Jakub Jarmuła the point is that with heavy cover and a dodge token ( im still extremely nooby so i dno exactly what heavy cover does XD sry ) it is quite unlikely that the stormtroopers will get even one hit
