Undertale Yellow: Genocide Martlet's Animation (Part 1) - Remedy

Hey there! It's been three months since the release of Undertale Yellow, and let me tell you, it's easily one of the best fan games in the Undertale universe. I just loved Martlet's character, her design in genocide and her remedy theme was the cherry on top. It's only Part 1.
What's next ?
I plan to do the full fight in Part 2 (Remedy) and a Part 3 (Retribution). Knowing it's my first time i animate a project in adobe animate, i make sure next time the art is more accurate and the animation more dynamic. Mark my words i will do my best.
Exaction why not Vengeance ?
Vengeance would have worked if Clover wanted to avenge someone dear to him, but in this context, Clover's vengeance goes too far because he is not connected to the other five humans, and they kill people who are not connected, innocent, and worst of all, who initially wanted to support him.
This is why, the idea of carrying out disproportionate retaliation mixed with unbounded vengeance is the very essence of exaction. Exaction is highly chaotic unlike vengeance, because everyone is involved and everyone must pay, regardless of whether you're involved or not, you were just passing by then you will pay no matter what.
More explanation about Exaction :
Exaction : The act of demanding what is not due or more than is owed.
Exaction on a person can be seen as excessive retaliation to condemn acts. It doesn't matter if you are innocent, you will perish. You are as guilty as the people responsible. There is no forgiveness, only consequences, everyone will pay the prices for the sinners...
Futur Project ?
I was completely blown away when I discovered this project; it opened up so many new perspectives for me, especially the idea of exploring the stories of the seven humans who fell into the Underground in the future.

Are you planning to make a part 2 or 3 of the fight ? Yes, I plan to make a part 2 and 3, titled Remedy and Retribution. Have you already started working on the sequel ? Yes, I've made good progress. I'm currently animating the fight (Remedy) as we speak. Why is the art different, and especially why is Clover small and tall at the end ? It's the first time i make an animation with Adobe Animate, generally i used others software like Illustrator, Filmora, and Premiere Pro. At first, I didn't know how I was going to depict Clover, and I didn't have any ideas. Now, I have a clear and precise idea of Clover's design as well as his demonic powers and how he will fight in my animation. The same goes for Martlet. Everything will be completely rectified in the next animation in terms of art. Can you explain what Exaction is ? The complete information is in the video description if you really want to understand why I didn't choose vengeance or retaliation. To put it simply, the principle of exaction for a person is based on disproportionate vengeance and retaliation to make those responsible for actions that led to the loss of loved ones pay by massacring all the people encountered. Exaction has no end, whereas vengeance has a limit, it doesn't. The punishment will persist even after death. Whether you are innocent, guilty, not yet born, you will die, you will pay for it. Ehhh not the most prettiest animation, but I do appreciate the effort. It's just that the characters look very MSPaint. They remind me of Story of Undertale, which is really confusing me. I'd recommend searching up some art tutorials

Ngl everything has a begining, the art and animations for me are really good even if it can be always better. You think that all the animator should have Mappa level in draw, this is why it's easy to judge even when you do nothing. You don't know how long it can be when you animate just watch his others arts and you will see how good he becomes in this domain.

Hi thx, like I said I’m still a beginner I need to learn more of adobe animate, consider this animation like just a test knowing that part 2 will be much better in quality. Else for the arts I invite you to watch my works in community. I just learned those technics recently and it was just after I make this animation (the clean process was already finished). Else you recommend me what to work or do, knowing you are a pixel art artist, have you some advices about animation and art that will allow me to make peaks content in the future. I'd recommend checking out bluebiscuits' and Ethan Becker's channels. You can learn how to draw better perspectives and artstyles from more those qualified people. I would also search up Hue Shifting and Color Theory. I wish you good luck!

As epic and awsome as always... İ always respect and apreciate your creations since i can always feel the efort and love you put in them... The drawings are good yet You can pay more attention to the size ratio and scaling in the drawings. ((For example clover looks weird during 2:22 because their body is too thin compareed to head)) The color selection transition and animation smoothness are great. You can choose darker colors in the background to help with depth. There is some things i need to criticize. Ill list them by number 1. The art is sometimes weird. try to look other animators and trace and practice them. For example revolver animation, animated zerox, chase animations, etc. and try to do more shading and stuff and work on your art. 2.try to add text in the animations along side the voice acting. alot of people like text more than voice acting. So just add both. 3. Try to add undertale sound effects rather than any genaral sound effects. it just fits more. See revolvers animations for an example and hear the sound effects. (You can find undertale sound effects in google by searching "undertale sound effects".) 4 . Try to do more smoother animations and try faster frame by frame. Try to see other animators for example to learn. 5.And the last critic i have is try to be more canon to the original character. For example, you can do revenge papyrus the same goofiness but still doesn't believe in you like papryus belief or papyrus dust belief by KITCHEN CREW. martlet here is fine but clover is uhh.. more like a werewolf of some sort(no hate btw). Try to make clover emotionless like the original game and threatens anything in his way. Else, this animations is a huge W, despite some small mistakes, its good for your first animation. I hope you read this so you can be better. Anyways, Good luck on the animater journey .❤❤🙏🙏🙏
