Fantech WGP14 claims in its advertising/promotion that it can be used on PS3. I think it's great that there is a controller with an analog Hall effect that can work on PS3, no need to look for original sticks on machines that are lucky - because they are definitely old and the spare parts have probably been replaced.
Are fantech's claims trustworthy?
In this video, I will discuss and compare it with the stick that I have, and we will check the connection, whether it can do motion sensors, whether it can play all games, and whether it can press home and set the stick.
The controllers I use for comparison:

Rexus gx100 - I bought it a long time ago
Actually, I have an original stick from a used machine, but it's completely dead - so we will compare the 2 controllers above.
Ok, we will try to connect first - the main topic in this video - fantech WGP14.
Fantech WGP14
I checked the connection using cable and Bluetooth. To connect without a previous controller, you can:
1. Connect the stick to the PS3 with a cable

2. Go to the accessories menu, add Bluetooth device
3. Disconnect the stick from USB, turn it off and press home and share - it will blink
4. Then it will appear on the PS3 stick

We have set the connection - then we test the function of the PS3 stick first - namely being able to press the game button.
Test the function of the PS/home button
Let's try fantech first -
Well, it turns out that Fantech can't press the PS/home button at all. Let's try wired and wireless. For exiting the game and setting vibration/stick number. And you can't do both.
In my opinion, this is vital, in my opinion, if Fantech claims to support PS3, this should be taken into account. let's check the other 2 sticks.
For Rexus - it can exit the game and set vibration/stick number.
For the fake sixaxis - it can also be the same as Rexus.
Test the function in the game
Gran Turismo 6
To test the game, we tried using the Gran Turismo game - I have the complete Gran Turismo PS3. Let's try using Gran Turismo 6 first
Again, Fantech can't prove its claim of supporting PS3 - because even though this gamepad can navigate menus - it can't do gameplay at all. I tried checking on the internet and it turns out that not all 3rd party controllers can play all PS3 games.
What if we test using a Rexus controller?
It turns out you can, guys, it's smooth to play the game.
For the KW controller, I'm sure it can, but it's just inconvenient - because the TW trigger stick isn't analog, so it just turns on and off.
I've tried the Granturismo 5 version - it doesn't work, so this game isn't really friendly with WGP14 fantech.

OK, let's move on to testing games with motion controllers - I have a demo game, Super Rub A Duck, which really features control using motion. Let's try using Fantech first.
Well, it turns out that Fantech doesn't support motion either - we tried using USB and not using it. It turns out it still doesn't work. This is serious, some games don't work, the home button doesn't work, even motion.
If this is the case, it would be wiser for Fantech to update its marketing - inform you that this controller doesn't support PS3 or support it, but provide information so that buyers don't buy the wrong one.

In conclusion, the claim that Fantech WGP14 supports PS3 is not completely true, nor completely wrong, some games don't work, the home button doesn't work, motion also has no support.
My personal opinion is - because I like playing Gran Turismo, this marketing stick is misleading. Only if you play games that don't have problems with the 3rd party stick and you're okay if the home button doesn't work - this stick is recommended because the analog is good, I swear.
I don't really regret buying this because I can use it on my computer, I just regret it a little because my hope was that by buying this I could play PS3 with a proper stick.

Gw masih pake ini buat main dikomputer bang jadinye. Analognya enak. Jadi gw ga niat untuk return. Abangnya coba kontak fantech official store, bilang gabisa support PS3. Kalau fantech gabolehin return / ganti kontroller yang support, viralin aja bang, Share video ini ke temen temen yg kegocek beli stik ini buat PS3. Tau sendiri diindo kalau ga viral ga kelar.

Gw cuma ada game winning eleven 2011 (WE nama lain PES kalo gasalah) ama fifa 13. WE 2011 bisa main kick off - asumsi gw lancar di game ini. Buat fifa 13 dia ga bisa masuk menu kick off. Kena error harus pakai wireless controller, gw coba pake rexus gx100 bisa. Di fantech WGP 14 gabisa wired/wireless.
