Great video Audrey and Chris. A couple of things on the '74 era tanks- They all fill slowly due to the vent lines are easy to pinch when putting the filler neck and vent hose between the outside mount and the fuel sending / float unit mounted on the front top edge of the tank. I do know of several who have done the Bronco II tank and a certain year Mustang II tank. With careful routing of the rubber lines, you should be able to avoid some of these complications. Hope that helps.

I don't remember the width of one but a 67ish Mustang tank may fit between the rails. That is what I used on my 66.

@7:10 Yes, fuel cells are not street legal however, given the vehicle age, CA and TX wouldn't even look at it. But suppose the owner is retiring in NV. They will probably just look at the gas cap. Of far greater significance, when you do an LS swap on an older car, the OEM EFI expected dozens of feedback points. When you buy anything from Holley, FAST, MSD in order to make an LS work without it's oem input, that is illegal for street use. 80-100% of the LS swaps your shop will do are probably not street legal. Point being, who cares about fuel cells.

Also, if you have an ambitious customer who wants to use an LSX block instead of LS block, that is usually illegal. Hence the disclaimer "For off road use only".

Custom tank is what I was thinking before you even measured the frame rails all these people thinking they know better probably does bodywork using duct tape & 5 &1/2 thick Bondo they probably go to the Dr & try to diagnose themselves as well if they watched your show they'd realize you are 1 of the top shops in the country & that didn't happen by accident
