I can explain the real reason of what's going on in the ending of Secret of Starlight Special. That voice Allura heard was Alterro. It makes sense of how they both are seperated is because Alterro found that Nova Charm that leads to Starlight Ridge. Until Allura took it from him and he's trying to stop her from using it, but it's too late. Allura accidentally activated the Portal with the Nova Charm and she went through the Portal without even listen to her brother. That's how Allura is stuck in Starlight Ridge for moons. Alterro tried to stop her, but it's too late since they were the Kitten Snow Leopards.

Ooooo I can already tell that Allura is clearly not a bad guy, she is just trying to get back to her brother, but through wrongful acts. The fact she also cares for Twitch as well, is very sweet and it definitely brings out her soft side. I’m not going to lie, but in a way, she’s a misunderstood and tragic villain. The song was beautiful and sad at the same time. I do hope that the Mane 6 could understand her situation and perhaps even help her and Twitch get back to Allura’s brother. I’ve always had a feeling that she wasn’t completely “evil” she is just lost and even Izzy not being sure about Allura in the previous episode as well. I love their design as well, I noticed that the brother has a red, orange, and yellow mane, while Allura has the green, blue and purple. It’s such a cute detail :) Rating: 9/10 🌟

Seriously,just as we get to know where the writers were finally going with this season, Hasbro just had to cancel it.Even i know that some of the writers are not happy since they put so much effort in this season and we won't get to see more of their talented writings after the 17th of this month.All in all this episode was absolutely fantastic.Gretchen you are truly the Head Writer for a reason.Allura definitely deserved this.👏👌👍✨💯💚

Well, they sure seem to care this much, so I think there's reasonable hope that they're gonna wrap the story up for us in the next ep so at least it has some conclusion, as good of one as they can achieve in 5 minutes. Really, what they could do is have Sunny, ever the hopeful one since the start of the season, or even Misty, with her heart and her magic, get through to Allura and help her find a portal back home, possibly even to her brother, and then the final minute is spent giving our favorite ponies one last huzzah before the credits roll. 😄 How's that for a somewhat satisfactory quick conclusion, given their restraints? 😏🫠 Or they might not do that. Maybe they didn't have that kind of ep prepared, and we'll have just this ep as the swansong of the Allura arc. I'll try not to set my expectations too high. This was a great ep anyway. And a good enough note to end on for a show cut short. 😌

Lost and alone since she was a literal cub, it kinda makes it understandable (though not justifiable) on why she's become so desperate to find the Nova Charm by the present day. I admit that this episode and this hard ordeal that Allura and Twitch are going through broke my heart , especially since we officially released Allura's song " We feel that Allura really likes Twitch, that she will do anything to protect it " , it was magnificent in addition to certain sequences that we haven't already had, the Nova Charm that Izzy Moonbow had stolen from him, but also he came to Maretime Bay to try to find happiness and peace here, but suddenly we won't be able to know what happened to his brother : Alterro , if we were to go somewhere else with Sunny Starscout , Pipps Petals or Zephyrina Storm , especially since there is still one episode left, and I hope that the last chapter which will good close season 2 , on October 17, Will be a little longer

Allura’s getting that frenemies treatment. Either we see it or we don’t but going off of this she’s very likely to be befriended by Sunny and the others. Not set in stone but very likely. So hopefully they don’t screw us over again like with frenemies. If you give us an episode that foreshadows a villain being reformed. Stick with it because that redemption episode is gonna be better than any bullshit they give us to undermine expectations.

What is is with these antagonists and absolutely stealing the show?! This episode was AMAZING! First let's talk about the Mane 6's bit. I like the detail that the extreme, adrenaline loving Zipp doesn't like spicy foods while Pipp isn't fazed. The juxtaposition is just funny to me. Seeing all of their cute expressions at sleepy Sparky was also nice, and similar to what happens with Allura and Twitch. This episode has their relationship mirror a parent and child with Twitch acting like a young kid about the Board Trot and the friendship bracelets. Meanwhile, Allura is trying to say no but caves as seeing Twitch's please faces and whatever... that was at the gate. We see her frustrations with him at the start of the episode, even calling him insufferable. However, when she sees him wrapped up in bows we see her remembering the day she basically adopted him, and her genuinely smiling at her "silly little bunny" . She also doesn't hesitate to save him from the Ferris wheel. I think a lot of parents can relate to Allura about the good and frustrating aspects of parenting and how they would do anything for their kids. One detail I appreciate is the heart charm appearing on Allura's bracelet when they're back at their cave. They aren't riding rides or playing games, she's just tucking the little guy in. I like to think the bracelet recognizes the love and friendship between these two as well as Allura having fun spending time with him. But we all know the episode's greatest highlights are; Allura herself, her song, and everything it means. I lover her expressions and line delivery in the beginning of the episode as she tries to resist the cutest bunny face ("That is not fair" ) and at how reluctant she is to go to the board trot ("Unbelievable", Julie Lemieux's performance is just purr-fect). Not to mention how deadpan and sarcastic she is about the gate being locked. They make every moment count with her. Speaking of little moments, I like the quick look she gives to the camera when singing the line "You never knew me". Not only is it so true, but I think both it and her making the icy flashbacks could tie into how lonely she feels. All of this is for the audience because there is no one else to hear her story. The song itself is great. The creepy prelude representing her more chilling side and soft keys symbolize her softer side, with the soft melody showing the song as emotional and sad, especially when paired with her past. Her past flashbacks relating to what is happening in the present. The flashbacks themselves also give us a window into her psyche. During the song, Allura is at the edge of the Board Trot, on the outside looking in (just like the lyrics) to symbolize what her life has felt like since being on her own, but she's the one putting herself on the edge in this episode. She's free to enjoy the rides and games with Twitch but chooses not to until he asks later in the episode which is interesting to me. When hearing her song for the first time i was remind of this quote from a certain sly fox that rings true here, "If no one is going to see a fox as anything but shifty and untrustworthy, there’s no point in trying to be anything else”. This could even account for the season two premiere, Icy Prints. Allura wasn't actually doing anyone any harm, she was just minding her own business and we all know how that ended, a video of her growling being sent to every pony. She's been chased out of every home she's tried to make while being separating from her brother that she adopts the cold (pun intended) exterior we see now, and how she isn't afraid of taking drastic measures when pushed. She purr-suaded the auroricorns to find the Nova charm rather than just ask for help because she's been turned away for so long she sees it as the only way. She trapped Izzy in the giant snow globe after using her purr-suasion to get the unicorn to leave her alone proved fruitless (and fruitful, again pun intended). Then there's her brother, Altero. Everything she's done was to get back to her brother after she didn't listen to him and got herself lost. That has got to sting. One interesting detail is how Allura took the portal crystal from her brother and how they interact. Seems she always had a mischievous side (though certainly more innocent as a kitten) and a bit rash, hence jumping straight into a portal of unknown destination. Altero on the other paw is a bit more think before you leap given how he tried to warn her sister about jumping through a portal where she didn't know where she would end up. I also like how he contrasts his sister's design. A lighter coat and warm colors for his mane/wings to contrast Allura's darker coat and cool colors for her mane/wings. It's small but effective and a nice bit of detail. Overall this was an emotional masterpiece that gives us a look into Allura's mind and how much of a tragic character she is. Great visual, great vocals and great music. Nice bits of humor, courtesy of Twitch, coupled with heart warming and heart breaking scenes from the big (not so) bad kitty herself Allura.

Also I like that she cares about Twitch I like that she and Twitch had fun at the boardtrot together. I feel sorry for Allura.

I think if we’re gonna have one more episode next 2 weeks (even if it’s another special), it’s probably gonna be rushed, everything will be a bit unfocused, maybe not the best episode we’ll get. I don’t know for sure yet, but we’ll have to wait and see. (Just hope those petition slips Hawk’s giving everyone to sign will do the job and save this generation... 🤞🏻😬)

I've been waiting to tell you this! I went Detective Zipp mode and figure out these 2 questions, Why Allura wanted the Nova Charm, What was Allura's brother's name? And thanks to this episode it all make sense! And i'm really glad i didn't tell you because spoilers. I can't believe we treated Allura like a monstrous leopard we should be a shamed, And to quote ACRacebest, Were gonna forgive her aren't we? To be honest I was originally expecting MLP: Make Your Mark to continued with Allura replacing Opaline as the next villian along with Twitch as they went through the portal to Equestria while intending to recover the star and get revenge on Sunny and her friends. I was more curious to know who is the voice that spoke Allura who revealed to be her brother but it looks like we'll never another series as the writers decided to leave this episode finale as a cliffhangers which is very disappointed for me because I hate cliffhangers. I'm hoping in MLP: Tell Your Tale season two will continued until it gets to 70 episodes just like the first season because Allura's brother won't make his appearence in MLP: Make Your Mark at all but still hope that he will especially that he did make an appearence in Allura's backstory when they were cubs. However I did hear from someone that on the 17th October that there will one final episode of MLP: Tell Your Tale Season two before this series going to end forever just like MLP: Make Your Mark. I've very disappointed of the news because I wanted the Ponies to help Allura reunited with his brother as a good ending to the series instead of leaving this as a cliffhanger once again.
