My bet is that she is waiting for the coldest day of winter (she is unaware, but the unicorns will help her on Wishday with their magic), to create a snow storm big enough to make an ice sheet that will last until the end Spring (long enough to kill all non-frost_resistant plants & insecrs); to start the same type of "terraforming" that happened on Starlight Ridge [that "frozen waterfall" at the village is supernatural].

Woohoo Allura is back! This episode is a win for me for that alone, but much like the last episode I have so much more to say than gushing about the returning character. Let’s star with the smaller moments with Sunny, the sisters, and the straw. It’s rather funny seeing Sunny be so invested in a crazy straw as it is adorable. You also have to respect the sisters for being willing to stick around and listen to Sunny despite their clear lack of interest. They could walk away but they don’t. Speaking of little moments and sticking it out, Izzy telling the other she loves them as she leaves each time and how they just have baskets waiting for her. They’re perfectly content with supporting whatever she’s doing even if they have no idea what’s going on and only question it when they see Izzy exhausted since while her mind doesn’t remember going back and forth, her body does. These ponies really are ride or dies for each other. Now we get to real treat if this episode, Allura and Izzy. I like how they continue the parallel between Izzy and Allura and it makes total sense. Izzy wants to welcome the new creature in town similar to when she met Misty in The Traditional Unicorn Sleepover. She knows what it feels like to be the new pony in town and wants others to feel as welcome as Sunny and the others made her. She even says the iconic line “Hi new friend”. Unfortunately for Izzy, she’s the last pony Allura wants to see since she did destroy the Nova Charm (accidentally of course). Because of that, the fuzzy snow leopard who is made for cold climates is now stuck in the warm beach time climate of Maretime and may never see her brother again. I can’t blame Allura for rejecting her fruit basket. Then comes Allura’s purr-suasion. 1: I’m glad we get to see it again 2:It’s a bit weird she does it with her paw rather than her purr. A shame really I found the purring to be cute 3: It’s interesting that Allura doesn’t harm Izzy initially. She just wipes her memory of their encounter and sends her on her way. She isn’t out for revenge or enslaves Izzy, she's just so done with these ponies and wants nothing to do with them. Unfortunately for Allura, Izzy just keeps repeating history because in her mind each attempt is her first because of Allura’s memory wiping and it comes an endless cycle (look at that mountain of fruit baskets by the end ) until the others tell Izzy who her “new friend” is, leading to a compelling situation. When the other tell Izzy it’s who she’s trying to befriend, she decides to go despite how much the snow leopard hates her because she wants to make amends for destroying the Nova Charm (even if it was an accident). That causes Allura to trap her in a snow globe after one unwanted visit too many which isn’t not understandable. Allura simply wanted to be alone, only for Izzy to come back again and again, and doesn’t even use violence as her first option. Instead she just wipes Izzy’s memory and boots her out. It’s not until a certain amount of times her “peaceful” (she is still messing with Izzy’s mind but it’s not for malicious purposes, she just wants to be left in peace without fuss) method fails that Allura decides to take more drastic measures. However, I can’t blame Izzy too much either as she had no memory of meeting Allura in the cave and thought she was welcoming a friend to the neighborhood for the first time. Plus, when she does learn it’s Allura she goes back because she wants to apologize for putting the big kitty in this predicament and make amends. You can’t pin the blame on one or other. They’re both at fault and yet you understand both their view points and where they’re coming from. It’s that dilemma that makes the ending so sad. Izzy didn’t mean to upset Allura, she only wanted to start over. Likewise Allura didn’t want to cause trouble. She just wanted to be left alone and has now literally walled herself up in her cave. Neither of them really win in the end. You have got to respect the writers for going for such a melancholy ending.

I love how Sunny and Zipp were the ones who pieced together who Izzy was trying to befriend, since they were the ones who first discovered Allura had come to Maretime Bay back in Icy Prints.

What an episode we had today. Although Allura's return and her arc in TYT was surprising, there were some strange moments and errors in it (such as the effects of her hypnosis on the ponies 🤔). At least, it was fun to watch. 👍🏽

The long awaited moment has finally arrived with the return of Allura and Twitch as I mentioned last time, demonstrating that anything can happen, we see that Allura's new powers are very very powerful, and Izzy Moonbow despite her struggle to find friendship by offering her fruits as forgiveness for having destroyed the Nova Charm , that she finds in Allura an aspect of a creature who needed affection & empathy and who was always alone or not since she had her brother, even though she doesn't necessarily have it in her, she is still mean and has priorities and so, I would like to have a Backstory so that we learned MoOoOre about this character and her Brother

Besides Izzy (who found the cave by accident); only Zipp, Pipp & the Pipsqeeks (all 6 of them) are aware of the location of the cave. | [Sunny, Hitch & Sprout COULD have had a "flashback prequel adventure"] | _ . The reason Allura is keeping all the fruit (even if she does not want it or need it, as she feeds from fish, birds & eggs); is because her best_friend/minion is vegetarian. -> The fruit will stay deeply frozen & necer spoil; since the cave has to be at -20°C or lower, given what it is seen at the transition point (entrance). | Even with the entrance sealed by ice, Allura & Twitch are neither trapped, nor at risk of suffocation or dehydration. | Besides the freshwater ice (frozen from local humidity by Allura), light, air & rain can still enter the cave from the same hole on the ceiling that Zipp & Pipp used to escape the cave in MYM_Ch2. | -> Allura's coldest spells can force carbon dioxide (CO2) to deposit as a solid (dry ice snow); with oxygen going inside the cave from above to fill the vacuum. / Allura can fly out to fish/hunt (carrying Twitch if he needs some greens & flowers on his diet).

Still don’t think Allura is all that evil in this. She could have easily froze Izzy when she first entered her cave but instead chose to wipe her memories and send her on her way. She did this multiple times and only used her ice powers on Izzy when her patience was spent. Though it’s really Allura’s own fault for that since she kept erasing Izzy’s memories instead of just telling her to leave. She does seem to have great patience though, choosing only to attack when she’s at her wits end. She also now has a bunch of food in her cage that won’t spoil so that’s a bonus. She’d probably like the fruit since it’s cold and the juice is refreshing. All she wants is to find her brother and go home. Those are not evil things one desires. They are actually very reasonable things to want so I don’t see why people still think Allura is a villain when she isn’t really hurting anyone to achieve her goals. She has multiple opportunities to hurt others but doesn’t. We also finally know something Sunny is adorkable for, crazy straws.

Is Allura REALLY destined to be this way? I feel like she sees the ponies as threats more than they think that way of her somehow. And Izzy CANNOT be stopped no matter how wild she is! You erase her memory to get her to leave you alone, she’ll ALWAYS find a way to come back to you. I’m also very interested in all this new stuff here. I love this episode. A few things I want to say: 1. Wouldn’t be easier for Allura to hypnotize Izzy to do her bidding? 2. I can relate to Allura. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with my friends and family but sometimes I need to be alone to be at peace. 3. Are we all just going to ignore the fact that Izzy literally told Sunny that she loved her? That confirms that Izzy has a crush on Sunny and I would love that to happen. #TeamMoonscout!!!!!!! 4. Zipp and Pipp got to shine in this episode in the cave where they bonded as sisters. I love that. If anyone got something to say about the things I said please let me know.

I noticed straight away in ur intro u used the Wii Sports Resort music, very nostalgic! :) I thought this episode was pretty good, I think u can notice that Allura isn’t exactly plotting “evil stuff” but just rather wants to go back to her home, because that’s her environment and u can understand why Allura doesn’t like Izzy. I have a feeling that Izzy will be trying to bring Allura to be in good, similar to how she was like with Misty. Though, I’ll admit I’m kinda curious to know what if Misty stayed by Opaline’s side at times and that she would pretty much be like her evil mirror self that we saw episodes ago. I’m still hoping there will be an episode about how Opaline actually found Misty as it would bring in a bit of lore and maybe perhaps a bit of Opaline in the present. Overall this episode is: 8/10 :)

You can’t exactly call Allura a villain though since her goals are not villainous. If anything people and me feel more sympathy towards her. All she wants is to go home and find her brother and I stuck in some new world or other part of Equestria worried she will never find her brother and home again and is forever trapped. Her story is to explain what happened to her and how everyone misunderstands her goals. Yeah hypnotizing a town is wrong but when she can easily freeze them she chooses a less harmful approach. She isn’t all that bad at all. Now she just wants to be left alone in her badass ice cave. Give her a break she’s been through enough. She’s probably the most humanized “Villain” we’ve ever had in Mlp.

Talk about serious anger issues. I mean we get allura you hate izzy and hold a grudge for her destroying the nova charm but you don't have to be that drastic and almost murder 3 ponies. Sheesh.
