You know you've got something about you when a large games developers goes out of their way to actually create a brand new role in a game. Especially when it's one which has been specifically tailored for you and you alone. Props to Mando and also thanks - for being brave enough to do what he felt was right. If he didn't do the total opposite of the script requirements at his audition Vaas would not exist and possibly my fave gaming villain to date would never have been created. To principles!

If anything, that'd be a DLC mode for Far Cry 3. Part of the Far Cry series is that none of the games are related to each other, except in concept. That being said, Vaas caged insanity and rage is explained in the game. Its hinted in his most famous monologue that he started seeing people differently. He's talking about the Rakyat - Citra (a classic manipulator) in particular.
