@@GothicLeviathan I'll be honest the story remained more or less on the same level, hoyt is just nowhere near as impressive of a personality as vaas. saying the game died with vaas is dumb imo but killing what is likely one of the most powerful videogame villains halfway through the game wasn't too smart either. hoyt is just the calculating baddy with no interesting meaningful dimensions to him. hoyt is generic, vaas was unique.

@@jakublukac9348 I don't really know, I played Farcry, Farcry 3, 4, 5, Primal, Blood Dragon, and New Dawn and Vaas was a good character, it felt like every Farcry antagonist was, we didn't even see Vaas for most of the game, he is in it very little, I don't really have a favorite character but my favorite antagonist is Pagan Min, Vaas was just crazy it felt like, Pagan was crazy but still crazy enough to be smart and know what he was doing, though I will say I never really like any of the protagonist of the games

Far Cry 5 should have Vaas in it. In Far Cry 3 they put a cliff hanger at the end when he opened his eyes. Ubisoft should be creative like making a back story of he just drugged Jason into thinking he killed him or something. Just Vaas alone would make the sales sky rocket.
