Well the classic version trees don't have shadows, is Dunia Engine's problem with blend shadows, don't blame the remastered is really looks a lot better than what we had.

actually , trees have shadows but not blended properly. In the morning the shadow should bend sideways and be longer then the tree's height but in remastered some of the trees hve rounded shadows which do not match with the casting of light of the sun. But the texture details are better the the original.

I've started a replay with a 12gb graphics card on ultra July 2023 (standard version) and it looks gorgeous. The remaster doesn't look better, just darker. I prefer the vanilla.

LOL....not sure what I was looking for, but Vanilla looks better compared to whatever that other "Remastered" version was supposed to be. Its just off, The game is already a masterpiece, someone just needs to come out with a Texture Pack that redoes all the textures to Far Cry 5 Textures.

Attempting to be "realistic" in a way to altering the overall lighting to look darker at some point isn't really look realistic and not gameplay practical. And replacing the mini-map with a compass to look more "immersive" and "realistic" isn't practical too. Far Cry isn't survival simulator. And also making bow special ammunition crafting recipe so rare isn't practical too, it really kills the fun.

Just wanted to say this some said to me that the remaster is not supposed to look"better" its supposed to look more like real life and that is actually sounding better due to it does look more like i can think how it is supposed to look in real life w less colours on houses n other stuff.. But fc3 vanilla looks better for the colour is brigher n nicer to watch,remastered looks better every other way exept colour i think

The main problem the remaster has is his map. The map of original was very specific and much more detailed. In the case of remastered you have to rely on the bigger map because the smaller one on the screen tells you absolutely nothing.

I just started playing and wanted to shoot up a outpost after getting the 4 star ar. But they pulled a damn uno reverse on the npc and player health bars and damage. Took like half a magazine to stun him and i just died instantly. Can't even heal cause u die by the time u heal up

They don’t even have the same settings! Vanilla is centered view, which looks far better & shows off the gun design… Remastered is off center view.. I’m sure there’s a bunch of other settings, remastered that makes it less appealing.. It could be intentional Also, could not be intentional… Regardless, all of the settings should be exactly the same to get a clear unbiased example..

is it possible to get both Mud mod and the Reborn mod working at the same time? The files are named the same and replace each other when you drag them in the same folder. As of now, i like the Reborn mod more because of the weapons and lootsack/wallet capacity. All these mods available seem to be copying over the same damn files. And also, sometimes the game crashes after like 30 mintues of playing with the Reborn even after downgrading the mod and selecting Direct X9.

Dont now if its my settings on y.t/screen but it looks worse then original for me(dark n less colours in remastered here). I got this last night n looks great on pc+runs fine w GTX1650 i5 9400f 16gb on my pc too.. I had a little stuff i didnt know at 1st..for 1 that i had to change a file in save games in documents xmf-document named Gamerprofile that was in my download i recived so i hope i got it up n running as it should w improved graphics"it look great so i guess it does but not 100% sure!) So how to know if its working or not,Dont remember how vanilla looked like since i played it last...I suppose if i see sun light through trees its working+roads looks great as in the video.. It runs at a more stable FPS too+think its at a higher fps to compared to original"but could be wrong"! Thanks 4 video

En algunas cosas se ve mejor el remasterizado pero en otras casi ni hay diferencia, pasa lo mismo con la iluminación, en partes esta mejor pero en otras esta peor, hay mejoras en ciertas texturas pero... Aún así me quedo con la versión anterior WTF? In some things the remastered looks better but in others there is almost no difference, the same thing happens with the lighting, in parts it is better but in others it is worse, there are improvements in certain textures but ...
