i think this would be a good "1st", i really ❤ FC3 which was huge jungle, FC4 felt more of the same imo, being in jungle, bout to start this, better late than never but this seemed to change it a bit plus i guess u can pick an AI helper (bear, dog, sniper, brute) Now FC6 is on PS+ & was XBOX GOLD few months back, iv always been console gamer, i admit, not really tech savvy, rather buy console & not worry bout graphic cards, etc but PCs definitely run smoother, bigger draw distances & mouse/keypad is much more accurate, i play at friends & it feels complicated since iv used controllers all my life, HOPE YOUR ENJOYING FC5!!

This game has such a funky progress system as apposed to the entries before it but at the same time I like it. It took me forever to get out of Herbane River for some reason. Like I did all the missions and side missions yet I still had like 1/4 of the progress bar missing. I ended up just taking out a bunch of the compounds to get the game to scoot me along.

Dude in reality, when Dutch released the Deputy, the first thing he would do was to flee the county immediately and notify his authorities. In a matter of days various divisions of the US National Guard would roll into Montana with full infantry divisions, heavy armor and air support. This if nobody knew about the cult, I don't know how you murder hundreds of people, build 3 massive nuclear bunkers, take all main business and important points of the county and turn into fortified militarized outposts without attracting any outside attention.

@@GunsNGames1 To be fair though, the Seeds have managed to legally purchase every establishment within the county into their possession or they just likely scared them in not talking about it. Even the cops were notably bribed and the 2nd in command of the Police Department was reportedly on Joseph Seed's side keeping every able body from interfering including the National Guard. But yeah, I would have done it differently a bit where a sizable police force comes in and people riot for or against Joseph's arrest. Then the cultists attack the helicopter as usual but this time a major shoot up erupting in the background as most of the police force is massacred and armed civilians that are for arresting Joseph Seed are forced to retreat yet a few are either captured, killed or stranded into fights throughout.

I find it interesting at how the "keep your rifle by your side" song from this game is now being used unironically by gun owners not in the way the cultists do but rather by stating "we will defend ourselves and our right to form militias and own weapons." Also, before anyone points out, there are multiple kinds of sins, such as religious (going against religious rules), morally (like robbing a bank), culturally (such as how you NEVER don't go without eating biscuits and gravy atleast once when you visit the south), and multiple other kinds. TL:DR Ubisoft made a great song that speaks greatly towards a huge portion of the nation and its religious undertones can easily be exchanged for different reasons.

If you listen to the radio you can sometimes hear of a possible nuclear war, and in the end cutscenes/final mission your task is to make it to dutches bunker as everything around you catches on fire. The deputy may have prevented many lives from being saved from the nuke. Thats just my guess on what they meant

​@@Pancakeboii SPOILERS You can learn that the PEGs controlling Hope County has caused an "Empty Quiver" situation, which is code for a scenario in which American nuclear warheads are either suspected or known to have fallen outside gov't control. Since there are three (suspiciously empty) nuclear silos in the area, it's pretty safe to assume the PEGs have obtained nuclear missiles. Now, watch the ending again. You're staring directly at where the explosion goes off, yet you don't see a warhead or anything fall before that - ICBM's are huge, by the way, we're taking 60 ft. long, so if you can see the blast, you're close enough to see the ICBM drop. An explosion without anything to cause it strongly suggests the detonation is coming from a pre-existing warhead... not only is the timing incredibly convenient (it's as soon as Joseph's captured in a way he's not able to escape), but why and even how do you explain a nuclear bomb just randomly self-detonating? Joseph had a nuclear bomb detonated on American soil, which in turn shot the US into DEFCON 1 and they launched their nukes thinking they'd been attacked and nuclear war had broken out. Joseph didn't predict the nuclear apocalypse, he CAUSED it. EDIT: Or maybe he didn't, maybe he just blasted Hope County off the map. Clearly Yara still exists, and if the US was really destroyed, there's no way a small island in a region so close to US Shores (not to mention Cuba would be a US target) would survive. I don't recall ever leaving Hope County in the sequel so...

I got to play this game someday soon, I never played it yet. I did play through Far Cry 3 & Far Cry 4, and liked 4 a little more than 3, & judging from gameplay & themes of the game, I think I might love Far Cry 5 if I was to play it. I do think they should use Mexico one day in a Far Cry game, the biggest threat in that would be trying to take down powerful Cartels and their powerful leaders, maybe even trying to take down corrupt Mexican government forces and their leaders too as well. That would be a very good story to tell.
