I've got one of these too. Actually picked up that bottle for Brandon at the store, then down to the Vault as a donation from him. Definitely interesting work Far North is doing with their Seed Vault series. Of course Daniel pours from the 2nd bottle of Seed Vault they have and says "there's no name on it"... having ignored the "Brandon Elliott" at the top.

I live about an hour from the Far North Spirits Distillery. When I got to go there earlier this year, I found out I was pregnant maybe a week beforehand 🤣🙃😭 so I only smelled the various whiskeys during the tasting. I can't wait to go back and be able to actually taste and fully experience the whiskeys (they also do gin) next year.

My Dad and I made a "Scratch Batch" of beer with all the partial grains and hops we had laying around to use them up, because that's what you do when drinking... aaand it was kinda meh - at first. We gave them away, boiled brats, etc. We stuck one 6-pack away, labeled only SB on the caps, and forgot it about it for roughly a year. When we found it again, popped the top, it was amazing!! But, being we were half loaded when we made it, and it was only so-so at first, we didn't have any notes as to what went into it. Oh well.

“Far North Spirits” indeed. They’re way up there, and even by “up north” standards, are close to nothing. Wish I could find this whisky. I’ve had some of their other spirits though. Their Solveig gin is wonderful
