Its a good show Nicky and probably helps to get more women into fishing (I'm assuming the show isn't overly manufactured) but you should be able to tell the difference between a snapper and a kahawai pretty soon after you hook it.

You might be able to get out on the right day but the westcoast can turn from .1 meter swell to a 3 meter swell so i wouldnt recomend it

+ryan davey yea you got that right expecially were that island is I know exactly where it is and its normaly rough there but its great longlining from the beach but gotta be careful of sharks lol

Wade Barrett well ive taken a 11 footer out but it was a perfect day. I also wouldnt recomend going on the west coast by urself
