I was born in India. My parents lived under British rule and we had a British way of life speaking English. As Roman Catholics we were a small minority in India. When my father and mother decided to emigrate to London due to the political situation, it was like coming to a mother land. So I too uphold English values and way of life and wish the people success in re-establishing and maintaining this culture in the future.

I watched the St George's day parade in London and realized two truths: Those who dislike the English flag know nothing about our history and customs! Secondly that the smug, middle classes look down on the working class! Millions of working class men and women fought for this country during wars! The working class built this country with coal mining, ship building, engineering, and cotton mills! Not forgetting the millions of servants who worked long hours for middle class people! Builders, roofers, plumbers, electricians, cleaners, gardeners etc all contribute to better homes etc! Emily Thornberry sneered at white van man and the english flag!
