Aamna's observation about Ahmed's accent reminded me of Wahaj Ali's Basim in Ishq Jalebi. The way Wahaj had added that heavy Punjabi accent to his diction was praiseworthy. Next to him was Madiha but she was talking in her regular accent but Wahaj went an extra mile to modify his discourse to suit the character. Such initiatives are definitely worthy of appreciation.

Do watch Ushna's show 'After hours with Ushna Shah' in the episode where she interviews Usama Khan. She mentions in the show that she acted with him in Ghair and clearly admits around the 7 minute and 34 second mark in that interview that she was completely "spaced out"/"ghum thi" during the shooting of Ghair. Usama Khan immediately agrees that she was. So yes, her acting in Ghair is actually bad, because her co-star and she HERSELF ADMIT that she was spaced out.

Yahya - I actually liked this mini-series. I agree with you that the 2nd last episode felt like a bit of a drag, but the performances were so strong that I was able to overlook that. The leads had great chemistry and I was genuinely surprised by how well they looked together. Their romantic moments were so adorable, and their emotional scenes were deeply moving and gut-wrenching. I definitely think they should be paired up again, but this time in a full-length drama. As for Khushhal, I completely agree with you; he’s definitely a rising star. His performances just keep getting better with every new project. P.s. A special shoutout to the actor who played Bushra's character-she was fantastic!

I actually loved batish and his friend's dynamic. And look the thing is they were friends for a long time. Batish disappointed his friend. And honestly friendships between men have changed over time. I've seen my male friends and male cousins have this open dynamic with their friends now. Nadaan: You guys nailed the review of Nadaan, specially Aamna.. And yes, the OST has become my favourite ever since its release, ek sukoon aata hai sunne pe... My only issue with Nadaan was how they find the medicine bottle in the Peer s car, that was very weak, it needed to be handled in a different way... And somehow we find Ramshas acting a bit stilted... Rest it was an Aam Aadmi kahani told beautifully without any melodrama, just as life actually is ❤❤❤❤

Its ironic, since i moved to China for phd and here western media is banned..for some lab work one of my Chinese friend needed netflix account and i volunteer to get it for him. I think Salman showed correct emotions to Batish and Batish’s reaction was right too. Batish has quite a few shades to his personality. The reason being, Salman removed himself from Batish’s life despite a really strong bond because he didn’t agree with the path he took. And given the sensitivity he has as an artist, Salman’s reaction was apt. Men can show such emotions too. Had they dragged that scene any further, it would have gone into cringe territory.

From producer's perspective, 8-10 episodes per drama aren't enough to cover the budget. There are many filler episodes/scenes in our dramas usually which get's the same ratings but i completely unnecessary. Those are the cash grab basically.

Verna aisay maza nahi aata.
