This is my favorite campaign for Ottomans ... I couldnt beat this campaign but I found a way finally ... I build up army at start in Baghdad and send it to India and rush and conquer whole India, Mughals are weak, while only holding Instanbul in the West. I build up my empire in India and the income from that is big, conquer Persia to link up and now Im too strong to conquer whole Europe.

If you start out by allying yourself with Poland-Lithuania, it'll pretty much take care of Europe for you. You can carve up Austria with them and focus all of your forces on the east, after that.

I like sell Bosnia to Morocco on Turn 1 - which is sweetened by the fact they cannot recruit troops in mainland Europe. This establishes a secure western flank when riposting against Austria, as Morocco doesn't get DOW'ed by any AI except Spain.

Probably my favorite ottoman momment was when the russian ai broke and lined up on a stonewall with their backs to my cav. I charged them and just slaughtered them. 2000 casulties

You did a good job but I did another strategy I exchanged all region except Egypt , Syria, Palestine,anotolia,to Bengal.after that I build army there and I destroyed maratha confederacy . Q I conquered all India . In the late game dealing with maratha confederacy is very hard

Hey Faramir, how was your initial set up on your Eastern Front? (In the set up before the stream). Looks like Mesopotamia went to the Mughals as a buffer to Persia, and Armenia to Knights of St John as a buffer to Georgia. What were those trades? Also, looks like you cancelled your alliance with the Barbary States but you have a 2nd Protectorate (maybe Knights of St John)? Could you let me know how you went about that?

Answer, don't.... But honestly the AI diplomacy is really bad and too stupid to do deals with them which makes cheesing it your only real option. Good example is granting military access for money then cancel the access and repeat till you use 'take' all their money.

Very hard to play Ottoman. - Early units suck. Can't defend very well and low moral - Russia, Sweden, Persia, Venice, Georgia declared war with you on early stage. Overwhelming you on every front - nation leader suck -2 diplomacy which pissed off every nations

Worst thing is even Dagestan will hate you. And also Great Britain and France can declare war any time they think you start to recover and land their armies in Egypt opening yet another front and ruin your trade by blockading. And most importantly Marathas in the east I think they are configured to be end game threat, they are always like on steroids and become a huge threat from the East.

It could have been worse had creative assembly added in the Janissary revolts that would occur time to time if the player tries to make reforms too quickly.
