Oh my gosh Hannah, everything is so beautiful and lush, colorful and green, awesome your passion vine is growing fruit, that is the dream of all us plant lovers to be able to grow fruit. I bet it is just magical to look out at your little bit of paradise in your own back yard, I love how your tiki bar turned out, it is all just so amazing, I couldn't do this where I live because everything would have to be brought into a green house for the winter, none of those gorgeous plants are winter hardy in Idaho. I could grow Hibiscus, and I love that plant, but it would die here in the winter, I might try just to see though, Clamatis are winter hardy here, as well as purple coneflowers, and roses. I guess I will have to ramp up what grows in my area and is winter hardy next year, that is my goal. Your Fatsia Japonica is a house plant for us here. I want to have an area somewhat like yours, so that is one of my goals for next year. Thanks Hannah, I really loved this video, you always inspire me to find plants that are colorful and grow where I live and are winter hardy. Have a great week, bye for now.

Sorry it's been awhile since I last watched but this video more than makes up for it, thank you so much. Now you are heading into winter and here in Australia we are heading into summer so it's back onto being up-to-date with the watering etc., lest these lovely beauties go to Garden Heaven...... but I don't plan on that happening. A big thumbs up for this wonderful video :o) * * * Looking forward to many more and great camera work.

What can I say that I haven't already. Your garden is absolutely stunning, you should think about getting into garden design as a side hobby as you definitely have the eye for it. Let me know how your passion fruit taste when they are ripe enough to be picked. You have an absolutely stunning garden and love seeing the updates. I hope that you've had a good week this week with the weather starting to change as I know this is generally the time when arthritis will start to play up. 😁😁😁💚💚💚

WOW! I am amazed, overwhelmed and in awe, but especially ashamed of my garden and I live in Florida! Your passion fruit vine has fruit! And those Musas, you cannot get bananas from those, right? Your huge Dicksonia! my word! you must have paid an arm and a leg for it! I had several in Puerto Rico when I lived there but they must have all fallen with hurricane María. Please tell me where I can get one that will grow that large! All you need now is to have your own little coffee plantation. Love your tropical plant addiction, you have not a green thumb but a green whole hand!!! Now I need to know how you overwinter all of those or if that gorgeous little shed has grow lights and accommodates all your plants or if you have a huge basement packed full of grow lights. Never thought anyone in the UK could have such a little heaven on earth. Congratulations!!!
@TropicalPlantAddict5 жыл бұрын
asaldanapr thanks so much! I’ll be making a video in a few weeks on how to overwinter the plants. I got my tree fern for around £160 from seagraves nursery in their sake but had to wait around 4 months for it! The musa basjoos can grow fruit! One of my neighbours has a huge clump of them with fruit!

I am really looking forward to seeing how you winter over some of your plants:)) I love everything you do and your style is so tasteful without being too much or tacky:) I always love drinking my coffee/tea sit back and just watching what is new in your garden or home, and listening to the fun or relaxing music:)) Love it Hannah thank you so much! OMG, so beautiful!, The Gunnera Tinctoria is gorgeous, we have gigantic Gunnera in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, I think possibly Gunnera Manicata(?), I had always wondered what that gorgeous plant with the gigantic leaves was and now thanks to your video I now know. Also I had not seen that type of Schefflera before, Schefflera Taiwaniana, the leaves are so beautiful, sorry not sure how many times I can say beautiful here in the comments section, but can't think of a better word at this moment.
@TropicalPlantAddict5 жыл бұрын
goddess131 thanks so much! The Gunnera would get much bigger if planted in the ground but the tinctoria is particularly invasive so I’m keeping mine in a very large pot. Can’t wait to see how big it gets next year! Was tiny when I first got it 💚🌱
@goddess1315 жыл бұрын
That would be a great video idea looking at the sizes of the plants when u got them to a year later , a few years later etc, so that we can know how the plant grows after we buy it. Thank you for your videos.

I see where you are leaving your Cannas in the ground. Are they hardy where you are; or do you just let the rhizomes rot, treating them as annuals. I did that a few times - I'm in the US Midwest, and I just can't dig them up anymore (no longer have the energy). I usually just plant new ones, but some of my favorites can be expensive. Beautiful garden you have!!
