@TropicalGardening3 жыл бұрын
Can't help you with that sorry, I mostly buy seeds from hobbyists or from dutch webshops. I don't know about their shipping terms: www.onszaden.nl & www.shamanicworldseeds.nl are good webshops.

Is the pink China winter hardy? Also could it grow in a shaded area? And i thought the ensette banana wasn’t hardy
@TropicalGardening4 жыл бұрын
Pink China is very winterhardy. It always comes back. You can grow it in shade but it wont grow that big and fast. Ensete isn't winterhardy, but it's very cheap, will grow very fast and it's easy to overwinter if you can keep it dry and above 0°C during winter. That's why it's in this list, awesome banana! 😉
@Jdnfbdbjf4 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks I’ll try pink China next year and do u reckon ensette could survive over winter inside my garage

I don't advice planting the trachycarpus fortunei or the eucalyptus niphophila though, well not near to your house that is.....
@TropicalGardening4 жыл бұрын
Always use root / rhizome barrier near the house, then there should be no further problems when pruned well.
@mgpunya14 жыл бұрын
@@TropicalGardening Yup, unfortunately we did not prune them & they grew really tall & had to be chopped down..
@mgpunya14 жыл бұрын
@@TropicalGardening I still plant the trachycarpus though, but in a big pot. I really like the fan shaped leaves. The " sparrow" like birds too often came, not to sure for the fruits or what...😃
