I have always thought that for such an incredibly beautiful barn for such a fantastic famous horse, that there would be special made air ducts to rid the stall of all the dust and allergens in the stall caused by using hay for a bed covering. Theres so much dust caused from shavings and hay used as stall floor ground coverings. Horses too get allergies. Every time I go into a horse stall I have to wear a surgical mask to cut down on all the dust which I cant stand breathing. It would seem that they could construct an air filtration system that would collect alot of the dust that a horse does breath while standing in the stall.

That’s what happens because they get more money breeding. Can you imagine secretariat as a four year old. They took him off the track after three he wasn’t even finished developing. Neither was American pharaoh. They needed another year to complete that but they had to go make more money instead. Somehow it doesn’t seem like for them to take them away from us, watching them when they reach their potential.

Pray his fate is happier than Ferdinand. A derby winner who went to Japan. Ended up slaughtered. A sin. These horses need protecting. Once foreigners are done using them for servi in 2:59 g mares, they should come back to the states to live out a happy life. Not butchered. Or just send sperm to other breeders. Keep our horses here, safe & loved.

Very few stud stables in the world do that; they usually just turn them out with another older horse or in their own paddock for a couple of hours a day.

No. They get an hour a day in the pasture to run and play! Under supervision, because they can hurt themselves.

Susan Barr American Pharoah gets to be in the pasture, play and eat. Have the sun on his back all day. It would be unheard to lock away any horse. He was inside probably to calm down and relax after the trip from the race. People who should not have a horse do horrible things like locking a horse away and never exercising them or feeding a horse correctly. It takes cash to have a horse & upkeep. That goes for all animals. American Pharoah is a Stallion and used for his golden tickets🥇🏆🥇

Healthy Chef Jimmy Show most stud farms also turn the stallions out over night since they are inside during the day in breeding season for work. Other barns lunge their stallions, some ride them. Each stud farm has their own exercise regimen
