I own 2 2016s Impala Limited Detective Police Versions. I have a Black one and a Gray one too. But I had them converted to LTZ Limited Version's. With Fog Lights, Stereo Controls on the right side of the steering wheel. And the trunk wings too. And I use them for traveling only.

I’ve always wanted one of these impalas. I’ve got a hemi Charger now and I love it, but it’s a pig on fuel for my 350+ mile a week commute. Also, ‘Police Interceptor’ is ford specific branding. Your former Impala is a ‘PPV’ or 9C1 “police patrol/pursuit vehicle”.

Just look up public government surplus auctions and you’ll be able to find all the old city or county vehicles in your area up for auction they don’t need any more usually for good prices

Looking at a 2013 ppv, has 152k miles, says maintenance has been kept good no problems. Thoughts ?

Nice i never owned that version. I still have 1999 Police Lumina..i had 2004 Impala police previous vwrsion.. 2010 Tahoe 2WD PPV, 2015 Tahoe 2WD PPV. Now have a 2014 Taurus PI AWD 3.7 and a 2017 Ford Exolorer 3.7 AWD PI. Love the way they all handle..The civilian Impala 2007-2013 seats were very uncomfortable

My twin! I like mine alot, I've put alot of work into it to make it just how I want. But I always want more and I can't stop wanting to be back in a V8 car. So I'm looking to sell mine and get a PPV Caprice hopefully.

I've been daily driving a 2012 one of these and so far so good switch into an Audi but it was a great car for while I used it

If you change the oil at every 5k miles, and the transmission fluid at every 25k miles, they can be just as reliable. These tend to be cheaper to own and to maintain as well, as it's a V6 instead of a V8. It's also cheaper on gas, and better on gas mileage. But nothing compares to that classic Crown Vic V8 sound.

Technically it's a PPV police pursuit vehicle, police interceptor badge belongs to Ford. Nice car though.
