Nothing will top the moment where it’s revealed that Vixen DID HAVE a spare controller ALL ALONG, but she decided not to use it because it didn’t match her aesthetic. Amazing.

One of my friends' saves had this issue. I managed to fix it by going back a few versions and doing the world and local saves separately until it worked. You'll still need to remake the character, but once you load in the second time everything works. Remember to check whether the palbox has your pals. That being said, you've exhausted most of the fun in Palworld at this point. There's kind of a big empty void at the end that makes me a little sick actually, so not a bad place to call it.

the good news is that sony saved palworld from getting erased completely by nintendo so its safe permanently even though sony owns the full rights to the game .

Oof, this is sad, I really enjoyed all the chill Palworld streams (and it got me into playing it, and it's quite a good game). I assume you already tried various stuff, such as restoring from backup manually (they are all in their own folders in the save folder) instead of through the menu. It's wild that this can happen despite the builtin backup mechanism.

Damn that’s unfortunate losing a save file. But on a bright side you still got BeastieBall and other games to look forward to. You probably already said this on a stream but what Digimon game would you play as a play through on stream?
