This week’s video is a tribute to Siam the Lion who sadly passed away from cancer. He was known as the Catnip King and the Super Smeller. He was intelligent, patient and a good leader of the pride. He was Kevin’s friend and he will be sorely missed.

You have such a hard road ahead, Kevin. Your lions are getting older, and we know what that means. I'm so sorry about Siam. I made the decision when I started that I would 'walk' this road beside you. So, I will continue to watch and share your stories. I hope you know how much you've improved the world. You've educated and made people aware of the need to provide these wonderful cats a wild home on this earth. You were there at the beginning of a shift when people started thinking really hard about conservation. For many of us, we then started to watch other safari shows and videos, and it became so clear how dire the need was to save these cats. So thank you. I will watch and support you and your animals as long as I can until there are no more.

@halfpiint Not really. He saved as many animals as he could. His purpose was to bring attention to the rapid loss of habitat for these animals. Consequently, the number of big cats is becoming less at an alarming rate. So, he does not want to bring more animals in the world to live in cages. His videos are awesome, and he has so many that you can watch and learn from to help you understand the lives his animals have lived. Subscribe at the very least.

@@halfpiint he said he’s going to start transitioning into wildlife rehab (ie the cheetah cubs he was raising up). He talks about how he know the animals at his sanctuary are getting older, & he’ll have to deal with their passings in another video. Super sad, but he’s given them such amazing lives & brought a lot of awareness. It’s just a shame their natural habitats keep getting destroyed.

He was 18 in 2021 or 2022 go back to the video and it shows the date and Kevin said he was 18 then. So im thinking he was 19 or 20 which is crazy because they say in the wild they only live to about 10. So he has lived two lives crazy. Kevin makes sure all his baby get the best care and stay in the best health
