Lions are some of the most dangerous animals known to man. BUT there is one man who is part of their pride. Kevin Richardson, an outdoorsman who lives just 30 miles north of Johannesburg, has an amazing ability to communicate with some of Africas most feared predators. His conservation area is home to lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards and panthers. He is able to live with them, sleep curled up with them, swim with lionesses, caress cubs and tussle with males. Aww! I finally got to see Meg & Amy when they were cubs. They are so cute & smart. Meg acts the same now as she did then. I also got to see their parents, Tau & Tabbie. Even seeing Kev save Bongani as a cub was amazing. Poor Peloghale.That was probably the reason she offered her cub to Kevin as she knew instictively that it may be weak or not survive, but in the end, she killed it. At least he saved Bongani and his siblings. Bonnie was so brave having her cub where she did. Geena is such a legend and her boyfriend Trelli is a laugh too getting car rides.😅

this is all possible due to years of hard work and study in understanding each of these lions, what I love about Kevin is his honesty in that he doesn't proclaim to be some lion tamer, he knows very well you can't tame lions, that some day maybe a lion will have a bad day and it could go wrong for him, but what he does is put trust in the bond he's built with them for years and years - he's not running around all the places saying he can magically tame lions, no, he simply knows HIS lions that he's worked hard to build a bond and trust with. Kevin is realistic about his abilities, that's what really sets him apart

I am extremely scared of animals but after watching this video I realised that baseless fear should be eradicated. I've watched quite a few of these videos, but I didn't realize how difficult Kevin's job is until watching this one. Seeing that baby cub's dead body and knowing it was his mother that did it was a shocker. Now the lioness is unhappy with Kevin for removing the other two cubs from her care -- it really showed just how difficult his job must be.

What's the difference between him, police officers, those in the military, firefighter......yet they put there life on the line all day, everyday.....and if they die, they die with honor, respect, and glory for what they love and believe in.
