Farewell to the Spitfire

The Spitfire was the last Dunbar built boat left and this year she celebrated her 50th birthday since her launch in 1974. The Spitfire and her Skipper Rowan Davies were the subject of out first 'Skippers and Their Boats' back in January.
However, during the summer the decision was taken to put The Spitfire up for sale and she was sold quite quickly and will now work from another Scottish harbour.
This is a short tribute to The Spitfire and a video of her last day as she sailed away from Dunbar for the final time.
It includes a short interview with Robert Davies that Jeff shot earlier in the year for the Dunbar Harbour Trust video on Cromwell Harbour, with DHT Director Kenny Maule asking the questions.
