Even the horse knows a good tune when it hears one. 🙂

Wow man! I wish I could play the banjo. I live in a small village in Northeast India and was raised to love traditional country, bluegrass and folk music, and living in India is very difficult just to even buy a banjo, so I had to make one for myself but I find it very difficult to learn to play as there's no one who learns to play it..

I enjoyed that, so spacious. I always associate Banjo with being very busy. So that was refreshing

One of of my fav tunes played well. I love the clawhammer sound.I've been putting my hand to clawhammer style, but as best, escapes me.

Just finding your stuff and man you are the best clawhammer player I've ever heard. And I'll add to that that I've been around a TON of them.

This last week was crazy cold over here in the Western Ozarks NWA area. Lowest night was -16. Not once did I think "I should go play my banjo outside!" 😂 Loved the tune man!

Hey Lukas, This is wonderful: your extraordinary playing, the cold weather gear, the backdrop with an obvious hoofed fan: best to you all from snow-bound Boston !!

I live in Arkansas too and it's just too darned cold to play anything outside. But apparently natural laws don't apply to you. You always sound great.

Awesome playing Lukas! Love the scenery! Do you know the song “the blacksmith”. Hard to find tabs or lesson for that one!

You play right and left handed? And make both look natural - wow!!
@davesdrums543 жыл бұрын
Didn't even notice ! Left handed ?? You could kick that banjo across the field and still sound better than me !! You have the sweetest tone ever

I think the video is flipped, look at the Carrhart logo on his hat... still beautifully played, though.

Reversed video or that horse behind him is left-hoofed.

Lukas, do you prefer a 12”? It looks like you are usually playing a 12. If so, why?
