Apart from the dangerous air blast so close to departing engines, how hot is that air?

Pretty darn hot, exhaust gas temperature is anywhere around 600-1500°C.

@@greatflyer_aviation Of course, yes at the exhaust point very hot due to exhaust and compressed air being hot - I'm wondering if those people so close to engine take off power spool up will be copping extreme heat as well as air blast?
