How do you get too slow on a Ka8 winch launch? You could overspeed one of those things hooking it up to a hamster wheel! I once had a legit zero ground roll launch in a Ka8 on a day where headwind was near (but not at) limit. Well done for 1. Keeping your hand on the release from beginning of ground roll and 2. Making the decision to pull the bung. People have died by staying with a bad launch too long. Also, the grass seemed *very* long at your landing point, even for a Ka8.
