IMO, bans for the current episode at the end of the current episode including your reasoning like the beginning of this video. Then at the beginning of next episode, show a quick slide showing what was banned last week (no discussion, just an image) followed by a scrolling list showing what has been banned cumulatively, sorted by deck and staples

I think the banlist at the start of the episode after works just fine, makes it clear what was broken in the episode before and gives the viewer knowledge about cards he/she will for sure not see in the video. Hope to see some more generic bans by the way, don't know for how much longer pot into pot charity will still be funny. Hope my feedback is helpful in someway, have a nice time everyone.

All of that goddamn World Legacy vs Orcust duel is that, aside from the S:P, it was very much fucking Lore Accurate, down to things like Dingirsu being formed up after the creation of the babel in order to revive Ib in the form of Galatea. So using Galatea as material for Dingirsu feels Proper

I think that, based on this video, the most obvious ban for next time is “winning the coin toss.” Jokes aside, I’m good with the ban list being at the beginning of the next video. While I would slightly prefer it at the end of the current video, it’s not worth it being added stress for Farfa. I thought the ban list segment in this video was really good.

At 8:14, I think D Link player should have chained Nib to Toad negate. I don’t understand why they didn’t - Gamma cannot activate without the two zones I believe (correct me if I’m wrong), it gives access to Druiswurm, Baldrake or Magnamhut and it turns off Gamma permanently. I don’t see Spright killing through Baldrake (tribute Nib) + Beast, but even Magnamhut + Beast might be enough. It was Dragon Link’s game to lose.

Carrot is summoned as CL3 of this chain, I was proposing Nib as CL3 in response to Toad, they keep starter in hand but they lose their field and because Seals is tributed CL3 rather than destroyed by Toad Cl2, Seals is able to trigger in the GY to summon Druiswurm. From there, even if they starter, you have branded beast to wipe the Spright Blue or whatever they summon and the Nib Token invalidates the known Gamma.

Honestly extra copies of Astrograph might be the only things worth adding besides more draw power in Pot and Graceful, and even then you might want to add Mighty Master off Electrumite instead sometimes. And Electrumite itself can be looped by using Fire Princess the few times that matters so you don't need extras of that either.

The correct way to hit tear is just to remove all the extra deck monsters. That way the cards can do cool stuff in other things without just being tearsnooze.

So, Next season (yes, I am very much aware that I am commenting waaaaaay late and early to the party), suggestion to deal with the issue of decks and cards being banned that probably shouldn't be, make the tournament round robin. Have some sort of prelim in the week, take the top 5, and then round robin them to get 16 matches and see who comes out on top of that.

I played Runick Ishizu at YCS Dortmund, with no additional floodgates. It was very good (you mill your own Runick and each one is a draw), but it was simply not good enough in Ishizu Tear format. I guess I should have played unga bunga floodgates instead.

It was a good attempt but the opponent just had a bit too much. If I drew better breakers for the situation or had slightly better draws off engage that was a winnable game. Not much that can be done though, opponent won coin flip and drew full combo, such is life

I just won with teniy swordsoul eventho my opponent had litterely 12 cards in hand(i gave them extra draws bc i thought it was over) turns out their illiterate and tried to pop my tenjiy berserker 5 times(yes you read that correctly) eventho it was protected by the field spell. Then they destroyed it by battel and i had Shthana bring it back and pop their 4.5k monster. They then proceeded to scoop. I can see the point in that having viewers not of the community give their opinions, but these viewers haven't seen the true extent of all the duels, and only see the highlights. Their opinions would be based on lacking context.
