*My Top 4* 1. Make goals, and achieve them 2. Is not needy for others validation, he's secure with himself 3. He always expresses his truth, even when it's an unpopular opinion 4. He understands how to motivate people
@zalamael5 жыл бұрын
Yup. Making goals, and working to achieve them, will increase your self esteem. That leads to being secure within yourself, which results in not being needy for attention or validation. As a result of being secure, you can speak your mind, because you don't need the validation of the people you are talking to, and can risk upsetting them if they don't like it. And because of all of this, you will develop your value to the point where you are above other people in how you approach life, which allows you to help others and lift them up to your level (unlike people at the bottom, who prefer to drag others down to their level through insulting, shaming, bullying etc, whatever it takes to damage their self esteem). Self esteem is the key, and the trick to developing it, is set yourself goals, and work to achieve them. It doesn't matter what those goals are, choose them for yourself. For example, want to learn to snowboard, or scuba dive? Then set those as goals, and look at what you need to do to achieve them (save your money to pay for costs, join a club, make friends with others who do the same etc). As long as you are always working towards fulfilling your goals, you will naturally develop your self esteem along the way, and that will change how you perceive the world, and how you behave in front of other people. It is the difference between living or existing, and ultimately being happy or miserable.

@@zalamael But, but but... if you have low self-esteem, you won't be able to make friends, so your goal will be close to impossible to achieve, so your self-esteem would become even lower... The progression works both way. If it was as simple as just setting a goal...
@zalamael4 жыл бұрын
@@spas_minkov It is that simple, as you can set goals that can you achieve alone. For example, eating healthily, is one. Exercising is another. Even if you can't afford a gym membership, there are plenty of bodyweight exercises you can do. Not every goal you set requires other people to make it possible to achieve. Also, you can make friends with low self esteem, all you have to do is join a club, and you eventually get to know everyone, even if you are shy and introverted. It will just take a bit longer is all. What I will say though, is that having a defeatist attitude before you even start, will not benefit you in the slightest. Set small goals, and achieve them, and you will feel good about it. Then you can set more challenging goals, and work to achieve them. Each step you take will get you one step closer to being the person you want to be, and your self esteem will go up each time you hit a goal.

Writing a bucket list the best method I have found to turn yourself into a high value man. Figure out what you want to get out of life, given that you only have a finite amount of time, and you probably don't want to be on your deathbed with only a few days left to live, wishing you had done more and lived your life differently. By making a list, you are essentially setting yourself goals that you really do want to achieve. And they should be your goals, not someone else's. They can be big or small, easy or insane to achieve, it doesn't matter, as long as you are working towards them, you will always feel a sense of satisfaction when you achieve them, which will give you are real sense of achievement and a real self esteem boost. For example, see a particular movie could be one goal, and that is easy to achieve. But you might want to climb Everest, and that is more difficult, but you can break it down into smaller steps, and achieve those, with each one bringing you closer to your final goal of reaching the peak. A high value man is a man with a winner mentality, someone who sets goals and achieves them, and as a result has a high sense of self worth, that is completely independent of other people. And when he is on his deathbed, he will be content, because he will have achieved almost everything that he wanted to achieve during his life.

That belief made me believe that I would never be rich because I would never be able to afford an education. All my life I ended up working for the man. Always humiliated by a higher narcissist. Now at my old age, after multiple divorces and failures I have decided to change my mindset. Guys, don't make the mistake I did and waited until I was too old to make serious changes in my life.

What really pissed me off more than anything is when people tell me that I'm "overthinking" things. I always feel like I have strong instinct and intuition to read people. I can detect a bad person, and I hate it when others downplay or insult my intelligence. I'm usually right, but by the time people realize the person in question is really a monster in disguise, its too late. So fucking listen to me when I tell you and stop telling me that I'm overthinking it, you're not thinking about it enough! Slick and conniving comes in all forms. I'm a Gemini and I find that water signs (pisces, scorpio, cancer) have piss poor intuitions, its funny because they're also very shallow and vindictive, so their intuitions only helps them to sabotage, but can't save them from worse people that can do them real harm.

I would like to know because i have ran into 2 my entire life one of them being my adoptive father for 8 years I had to listen to him lecture people and even tell my doctor how to do her job. Everyone he came across he would give a long lecture. It took me years to figure out he was just hiding an insecurity. I noticed his father grow up in a ranch his whole life and he raised him in that same ranch for a few years but I found it odd that his dad seemed not to know much but for him it was the opposite. I would call him out on the insecurity sometimes and he would quickly turn into the hulk and threaten to bash my brain against the wall.

Most of what you are saying here is either directly wrong or out of porpotion. Before you can stand your ground you need to really know what you are talking about*. Why "voice your opinion" in a matter that doesn`t mean too much anyway? The smaller dogs might bark.. Do not "speak your mind" too often, try not to have an opinion in every matter but save it for the moore important things. Try to treat others with respect, give compliments but without overacting. A real man do not need to "voice himself" too much as long as he thinks before he speaks. Be a good listeners, try not to interrupt others but let them finish before you respond. *And btw, intelligense is not worth much if you`re not humble & honest enough to yourself to step back and adjust your opinion now & then
