i don´t think he is doing it because he has a eating dissorder, i think it has something to do about he being a fat cat, and haveing the luxury of eat as a pig and still throwing it away, like

I think it's a sign of his extreme greed. Varga's someone who constantly chases after more and more money, by being bulimic he's extending his greed to even the most basic and necessary thing in life, eating. He binges then vomits so that he can binge yet again.

A friend of mine is a doctor. From the first scene he saw varga teeth and the way he spoke he said, this character has bulimia nervosa. Way before this scene.

Its nice how they showed a man with bulimia nervosa in a tv show/movie cause its always girls in tv shows/movies having this disorder. Men get this disorder just as much in real life too.

I love all the Fargo TV Series but I don't understand why they felt the need to add this particular caveat to this character. Why?

i feel as though it might play into his character. hes a communist who uses the allure of wealth against the wealthy, he has a dialogue with emmit about "actual" wealth, stating that he is truly rich by being frugal and saving his money to gain power instead of material things- yet here, we clearly see him wasting food (something commies dont get a lot of lol) for a seemingly unexplained reason. during his down time, all he does is stalks people on the internet (much like a wolf hunts), and his only other hobby seems to be wasting "material goods". what do you think?

I've heard something about how Varga has so much control over everything else in his life, from his surveillance to his manipulation, but the one thing that he lacks control of is his bulimia.

@@joesheridan9451 Yeah, that's because he's literally the opposite of a communist. He is a walking testament to avarice and consumption. As much as he consumes, so too does he puke it all out in bile and filth
