Fargo season 2 is so deep in meanings and symbolic features that, after a year this season came out, I had to rewatch it.

When that music kicked in at 3:06, I was overflowing with genuine excitement. So Fargo. So very much yes.

The colours , the costume design , the whole aesthetic reminded me of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood , despite the story taking place 10 years later

After the credits, Season 2 opens the same way as the movie: a sad, pathetic guy meeting with two men an hour late due to someone telling them the wrong times

I personally think Rye reminded me more of Carl from the movie. He kind of looks similar to him.

Love the fact Rye is wearing a brighter version of Dodd's outfit. It sets the characters' personalities pretty straight foward.

Season one had the better villain, season two the better story.
@Ian-xd2in Жыл бұрын
It’s hard to compare the villains. In season one Malvo was basically the devil in human form who’s desire was to just wreak havoc, and whose presence loomed over the other characters. In season 2 the creators didn’t try to have a overarching villain like Malvo. Rather a bunch of unique well written characters, (some not friendly) all thrown into a loop simply because of Peggy hitting Rye with her car.

Here is the sequence, Tony. S.#4. S.#2. S.#1. S.#3. S.#5. And I'm sure being redundant for most of you , I'm selfishly doing this anyway For superhero named Tony. All of the seasons have something in common , at least a person or more except for season #5.

has many levels, shows the time it's set in, tone of the show, aswell as reinforces the plot that was teased in season 1 and carried out in season 2.

Also, the entire scene here focuses on the theme of miscommunication, which is evident in almost all of the characters in this opening scene. Season Two's primary theme is miscommunication, and how it leads to conflict.

Is this supposed to be Hanzee?
@JackOfSomeTrades296 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. I believe that the director and the actor are meant to be parallels to Dodd and Hanzee. Although, the director and Dodd are kind of opposites, since the director is a Jew and Dodd's family is German.
@JackOfSomeTrades296 жыл бұрын
Guess what Dodd and the director share is that they both wear caps and are kind of ignorant.
