Year 3 has so much depth. Fargo dialed it back on the blood bath front but the subtle themes in the season make scenes like this so horrifying. This scene and the scene about mongol hordes to me is where season 3 shows how Varga is a different breed of wolf then Hanzee or Malvo that evil doesn’t just have to be a sociopath with a kill streak, but something far more insidious and undermining. Varga himself is a not a man of violence, he has others be violent for him, however, he breeds a perversion and corruption of the truth and reality, he intimidates through manipulation and cruelty, he controls and dominates conversation and thought with bullshit and misdirection. The wolf in sheeps clothing who charms his way inside before he devours you from within.

I loved the first two seasons. Third one was also amazing in its own way, not comparable with the other two but amazing nevertheless. The thing that stood out was the villian. He was without a doubt the most hateable villian out of the whole franchise. And that is what makes this season amazing. In the previous seasons the villians were bad but I didn't hate them.

Drinking urine is perfectly feasible at least in moderate amounts as urine contains no pathogens (in the vast majority of cases at least), I used to drink my own urine when I got high on Pregabalin (Lyrica) as 90% of the drug is excreted on the urine unchanged so I drank the lowest amount of liquids I could and when I finally did peed I just did it in a mug and drank it, it's not gross or bad-tasting but kinda disgusting at first (especially because it's warm) but the high was worth it; also, in Siberia, when a shaman eats some types of hallucinogenic mushrooms another guy would drink his urine and get high and then a third guy would repeat the process until the active components were so degraded by the body the effects would become unnoticeable. Oh I did get diahrrea when I overdid it though and that's actually the only significant side-effect.
