I was also a teenager in 1980s. He is right. Till qayamat sey qayamat tak came in, the new generation had lost interest in bollywood fims. They had stopped going to cinema hall. They watched movies on vcr at home . The bachchan fans particularly stopped watching movies after 1984because amitabh era was fading, big b fans wanted to see the sholay and don type of bschchan, not the slightly older looking bachchan.His last good movie was 1984 sharaabi.
