It's a podcast, brother, not an interview, it's one or more people talking casually, the guests come with that mindset too. I guess him and beer biceps can improve on making it more casual, look at how AIB, Nikhil Kamath, Samdish, Nilesh Mishra, Flagrant or even Joe Rogan do it.

Farhan is such an interesting person and this interview was a wasted opportunity. This should have been about Frahan and not SRK, Ranveer and Zoya. Also try to restrain from philosophizing so much and let the guest speak. This is not about YOU. You are just a messenger providing a platform so that the viewers get a deeper insight into a person like Farhan. You should research better or even crowdsource the questions.

@@ethanhunt937 He is a very bad podcaster. He's come up here using his fake success and struggle story about the soap business bs when his father actually owned it. And then went on to give these fake pretentious motivational talks. He his vocabulary and speaking skills, question clarity, behavior with guests, depth of thoughts all are VERY average. It's so annoying that he keeps interrupting his guests. And then, no etiquettes, as in who addresses their guests and say 'yeh batao'. He can be more respectful, formal and professional. The ONLY reason why he is still here is that apart for that beer batli guy, there really isn't anyone that big yet. He is here because his PR manages to get big names. That's it. Otherwise his podcasts are average.

Such a great interview. And thank you Farhan for making Lakshya. We need to stop caring about how much money a piece of art makes as people change their opinions all the time. So many of us, including myself, were greatly impacted by Lakshya. I watched it again with my wife recently and we both absolutely loved it. For perspective, Van Gogh died as a starving artist, but is considered one of the greatest artists of all time after his death. Several movies, games, books etc have done incredibly well many years after their failed releases. Art speaks to different groups people at different times in their lives, so our interest should purely be about does the piece of art speak to us or not. We should stop putting numbers on works of art.

Alright, since you asked for feedback, so here goes- Bravo on asking just the right questions on masculinity to the right man. Farhan puts it in such good perspective about how the pressure to be in control affects men deeply. Hope the message reaches out to young men. Loved how you had a few things in mind- learnings from father, sister, multi talented etc. Shows a good prep. Things that could have been done better- I wish there were follow up questions. There were so many things to delve into- for instance, why is it taking so long on Jee Le Zara, when it will see the light of the day, why has been delayed despite such palpable response from audience. The fact that Excel has NOT made a single female led buddy film, does it reflect on deep rooted sexism of the most evolved filmmakers and us as society? There were SO MANY questions aching to be asked all along. But being a podcaster and an interviewer myself I do understand the scarcity of time, especially with such humongous stars. My humble suggestion will be (and it has worked for me, hence I am suggesting)-instead of covering say 7/8 topics, let's stick to 4 most important topics and take a deep dive into those four topics and ask multiple questions around it. Of course, if that fits your style that is. Also would like to challenge Farhan's argument of a success of a film being measured purely by numbers. I largely agree with what he is saying, but there are always a 12th Fail every now and then that is a resounding success, beyond the yardstick of box office. As an interviewer, it is our duty to counter and bring in a new perspective (especially if it is a valid perspective, and not for the heck of it.) Lastly, (and this could be misread and I genuinely don't wish to shit over anyone.) But having watched a few of your episodes, I see you drop a 'I read in a survey/a study suggests/a psychologist says/a Japanese culture' every now and then. And sometimes it extends the conversation, adds to what the guest was saying. But sometimes it falls flat (and excuse me saying this) sounds a bit contrived, an attempt to come across as well read/intelligent. Having said that, I feel you have achieved such great success with these engaging conversations at such an early age. And I hope you bring more of these often and many stars find their way to your studio. Do check out my podcast called Lokesh Gets Personal and do feedback if you feel like. So long! Lokesh

Farhan is one of my inspirations. Three years ago when his Toofan was released I was undergoing my open heart surgery and the day I got discharge from hospital the first thing I did was I watched Toofan on OTT. My wife was in tears. I love his adventure spirit. I love his Junoon and his honesty of how negative comment/feedback can fuel up you to deliver best as he mentioned about playing Milkha Singh when a journalist said why the director chose Farhan and not any Punjabi actor. Only one thing is pinching me is why SRK is not in Don 3. Atleast SRK can have some special short role like Salman played in Pathan. I loved this podcast. Thank you Raj for getting Farhan on podcast. Nothing can match the authenticity of lakshay. It has encouraged and made a life of many boys including me. Any Aspirants, who has undergone SSB process, must have watched lakshay many time. In my College days, dialogues of lakshay were in our tongue especially "boys have done it" "bilkul fail" and many more. Even if we take its lyrics and melodies, do we have any substitution about its perfection. Farhan might have thinking from commercial purpose as witnessing not good response after giving a mega hit like Dil Chahta hai, would have caused him to go into depression. In the same breath, I want to highlight the concern about the Indian film market that most of the India audience want to watch the good content and often complaint about lack of availability but ain't it is a responsibility of ourselves to give a response to good content. A film without head and toe are getting hits but film like laapta ladies has to be released in the OTT.

Animal is one of the best commercial films made in the past 10 years or so.. Doesn't matter what these people say.. in 2010, Salman Khan's Dabangg changed the game for masala films and became a trendsetter. Animal has done the same thing 13 years later.. Ranbir is unstoppable from this point onwards.. the new superstar is here! 🔥

@rockychetta Dabangg came at a time when SRK and romantic films ruled. Dabangg changed everything.. it was the biggest blockbuster of 2010.. disrupted trends for Hindi movies when the audience was saturated by romance. Movies like Singham, Rowdy Rathore followed and action became the norm for the next 10+ years. Dabangg won the National Award for The Best Film providing Wholesome Entertainment and got remade in South also. It remains an important film and is a cult movie in true sense.

Farhan you are my favorite one in Bollywood industry, when Lakshya was released i was fallen love with that movie. I saw almost 24-26 times which I remember. Because that movie many young people joined Indian Army and defense forces. Its been many years but still its my favorite movie all time. Especially title song of Lakshya...It was ahead of its generation. Sometimes I also wondered why it was not great movie all time. I liked even more then Dil Chahta Hai.

I love Lakshya as a movie. So earnest, so beautiful. I still remember I watched it as a child on star gold and related so hard.. I was too young to fully comprehend its entire theme but it still left a huge impact on me. For starters, I understood that it's really important to have a goal in life

Koi galti nahi hai malik. You are the man for the job. I think ppl need to understand that the format of a podcast is different. So again, share the anecdotes from your life, interrupt where you have to because that's what makes it a podcast and not a news channel interview.
