And Coca Cola compagny is not a charity organization (it's profit-driven) it does not give its money to the zi0nist state. This adversity can be a sign that you are on the path of truth, by the will of Allah. Salaam, I took my kids out on Saturday for sake of Allah, we ended up overstaying where we were and they were then really hungry and tired. I haven’t eaten McDonald’s for a long time myself. My kids begged me to get them McD which they were used to from before and I didn’t see other decent place open that I could quickly get warm food before getting bus to reach home for Maghreb. Alhamdulilah I googled on islamqa and determined that boycott is not an obligatory act. Alhamdulilah they ate and we reached home safely and they did adhkaar before going to sleep. Alhamdulilah ❤❤❤ for Islam, the moderate religion. I can’t believe people can slander and backbite online with such ease. Astaghfirullah. Narrative 1: Making anything haram for consumption by your own free will, not supported by the Quran and the Sunnah, is haram. Narrative 2: Making something haram for consumption to create a economic pressure on those comitting genocide, is forbidding the evil. This will create opportunities for the Muslims to encourage the good without being stigmatized as terrorists. To follow Narrative 1 we simply need to be blindfolded sheeps. To accept Narrative 2 we simply need to oppose injustice with our hands, if not, with our mouth, if not with our thoughts.

@@kakarote100 the error is that disobeying the Muslim ruler is forbidden! You can defend the tragedy in many other ways without transgressing the limits Allah has set. There is a clear cut Hadith where the prophet says to obey the ruler even if he oppresses us. But not to obey him if he commands us to disobey Allah. There is also another Hadith that commands us not to speak about the ruler publicly, but rather to advise him privately. And most importantly Allah himself says to obey those in authority from among us.

Barakallah Feekum, wallahi Faris, I love you for the sake of Allah, and I pray that Allah accepts your efforts in spreading Tawheed to the people. However, as your brother, I have to be honest in this regard. Explaining the situation of boycotting requires hikmah, as in recent times, it’s quite an emotional topic. There have been a few examples in which there has been a lack of hikmah from yourself and a few other duat. One example was when you were in a TikTok live, and the person you were on live with was stating how they love Starbucks, but people were driving him crazy with the boycott, and you were both laughing at that. Granted this small clip was taken out of context, but this was a heightened of the genocide, and to the people you’re giving dawah to, this didn’t leave a good taste in their mouths. Not to mention in the same live, misinformation about franchising was spread in which the person you were on the live with, said that people buy the brand and use it how they wish and the money doesn’t go to the parent company, however, this is not true, because the person who has a franchise, has to pay the parent company ongoing royalties for the rights to the run the franchise. They also have to pay to renew their agreement and if they want to resell their franchise. So in the case of Starbucks whose majority shareholders are BlackRock and Vanguard (two companies who are also majority shareholders of weapons manufacturers like Raytheon who are supplying Israel with weapons), the franchisee is also funding Israel by paying the parent company which in turn makes a profit for their shareholders for them to use to sell weapons to Israel. As you can see, this could anger people when they see two brothers in Islam laughing about boycotting Starbucks, even though it is out of context and not with ill will. Another example is when you were in a live stream with Sneako and you made it a point to order Coke, and then mockingly said, “Oh I’m meant to be boycotting right.” We all make mistakes at the end of the day because we’re human, but that action lacked hikmah because it gave fuel to your detractors to use that against you and your dawah. PepsiCo’s main shareholders are the same as Starbucks, so you can see why this would anger people, especially the mocking tone. Wallahi, you do a lot of khayr with your lessons and your dawah, may Allah accept it from you, but don’t ruin it by alienating the people whom you’re trying to give dawah to. Barakallah Feekum

@@user-ve4zw6jp9i ask him if those from the salaf engaged in boycotts and protests. ask him if imam ahmad protested against the ruler even when he was tortured brutally and lashed. ask him who from ahlus-sunnah engaged in such activities where they boycotted products in muslim countries. the truth is that they didnt, bcz they knew it would bring fitan more than anything. one can see the evil effects of following a methodology that opposes the Quran and Sunnah, such as in the “Arab Spring” which began in Tunisia (in 2011) with an Islamically forbidden act of suicide (a man burned himself alive as an act of protest) and then these protests spread to Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen and other countries that resulted in anarchy, mass killing of civilians and the general collapse of Muslim societies. we follow the Quran and Sunnah based on the understanding of the salaf, and if protests and boycotting products (in a muslim country without the permission of the ruler) were something good and productive, they wouldve utilised it. but they didnt, and they warned against it. this should be enough proof for anyone sincere.
