Farm 3 Skull Maelstrom Bosses On The Isle Of Siptah Conan Exiles

Thanks for this video. My clans base is pretty big and is situated near the edge of a storm. I ran out a line of tiles took me about 50 of them to get 15 tiles into the storm. I just ran them during a storm until it would not let me build(if you are on a private server there is a setting for building in the maelstrom during the storm so might be diff). When the wind started to kick up for the next storm, I ran the last 15 or so tiles strait out. I dropped down 3 T4 thralls with 60 damage weapons(delves with addons) at the end of the walk. I ran out a 4th and gave her daggers and put poison on them. In 30 mins they farmed 12 bosses. Way more efficient than the 4 man and 4 thrall farms we've been doing to collect 200 or so unstable s storm. Also looking at the setting I noticed that there is setting that limits the number of bosses at one time and setting the respawn timer. On official it appears to be 5 at the same time with a 60 second timer. As you stated you get 1 at a time. You get a 1 min break after killing it. give or take and then you get another. So i was basically dropping one every other min and letting the thralls do the lifting.

Been doing this for 2 weeks. To me the best way is to place 6 or more fighter thralls down from where u are, and they usually make quick work out of the bosses. In one storm, with 15 thralls, I've once managed to get 21 Greater essences

@@rembrandtshadows No, but i also harvest each boss after they are dead. Also harvest with a sickle, you dispose the bodies in just two hits

people keep talking about using poison arrow. but that way is too slow. i build an lv20 greater beast and thrall army (about 10 pets : reaper queen, sabertooth,.snowwolf , rhino,t4 fighters ...) and just stand aside , watch them fight . use sickle to harvest . fast n so easy. if you want call 3 skull boss : step 1: build a fortress near the storm ( cant build in storm, it'll be lost stability ) step 2 : conect foudations from the fortress straight to the storm and wait .

Poison arrows aren't slow by any means. With two people, you get about 300 unstable essences without ever hitting the maximum allowed amount of active elder things and farming the roughly 200 arrows you need for a single run doesn't even need a fraction of the time you need to farm thralls, lvl them to 20 and equip them. . To farm poison arrows, just set up a base on the big island in the South West. There's everything you need in abundance except for glass, but there's silver. Farm the silver, make coins out of it and visit the market on the Northern island from time to time. The npcs will sell 10 glass flasks for a single silver coin, which is worth of exactly 50 arrows. A single silver ingot is turned into 5 coins, so with just a single ingot, you have 25% more arrows than what you would need for a full farm run in the storm with two people. The only thing you have to farm outside of the island is an alchemy thrall, since they are the only ones capable of crafting poison orbs. . That's a pretty low effort for getting infinite essences.

GodlordBazi i mean using poison arrow to kill an elder thing take more time than thralls. and i think we still need thralls lv20 to help you knock out t4 right ? . i got 18 greaters in one storm 40 minutes ago. with 2 sand reapers queen and 3 treasure hunter master archers. btw . summon the center surge if you want t4 alchemy thralls . got 2 yesterday.

@@nightwalker370 Yeah, in terms of killing 3skull bosses, thralls are a lot faster than poison arrows. I'd prefer sand reapers as well, their poison damage seems to be really over the top right now and you get tons of their "cubs" and shadowbloom when you spawn an overcharged center surge. . I don't know if it's just luck or a bug, but center surges seem to be the most valuable of all of them right now. For me it's the only surge that spawned t4 crafting thralls so far, including priests and an armorer. . The West spawns baby elephants if you own the turan dlc for a fancy bag carrier and some high quality archers and fighters, which are less valuable than sand reapers in my opinion, but that's pretty much it. Guess Funcom has to rework those surges a bit.

GodlordBazi i think center surges have strongest t4 fighter anh archer with 7k4 hp at lv 0 ( kathork of the great beast and Onna wild arrow) and you also can learn jhebbal sag from that surge by eat the meat inside 1 skull fighter . second place is berserker fighter from the North 6k8 hp. i met 2 T4 blacksmith when summoned East surge. and the west give me silent legion armor so cool.

I heard the bears moved in and he was testing each of the three beds to see which his character liked best . . . .

Depends how cost efective you want to be. They will drink potions if you click on them in their inventory but it takes a bunch to refill a fat thrall. You can get 12 hps a sec with cooked food and sated.

Works way better using thralls and doing it how I did in my vids, works way better on a live server.

ha ha ha u r da funni . . . ok on the serious side, it will be next year. Spitah has to be certified for each console, which takes money. Essentially the PC players are the alpha/beta test and the funding to get it certified. This assumes that the main mechanics do not change. I believe the console version is broken right now, but others would be more compentent to answer the question and provide details. It is a good game if you have not played but the development is described very charitably as uneven. Did I answer your question?

@@Firespark81+1 Sparky; the server issues . . . .it creates something called an object, like a corpse, and how the game architecture keeps track of and disposes of these objects can jam up other functions of the server. If the corpse do NOT drop randomized loot, it makes easier for the server to process in game events like creating and deleting objects. I'm afraid that wasn't a very clear explanation . . .its not the gas or really any player action, its what the player is causing to happen in terms of the number of objects. Btw, you need to have methods to clean up objects too or things grind to a halt but thats coding.
