Hey man thx each shining will gives u 100 chaos and 1000 chaos will open a full power surge and give u the best thralls so its important

u dont need to farm this boss to farm shinings. make a building in the maelstrom (amount of pieces you need is written in server rules under name *elder siege building count*) then you can farm all the shining/greater ????? bosses every 2 mins or so and you can stack literally 10-15 thralls with all weapon effects at the same spot so you will slaughter them so fast you will have 2-3 surge full of chaos in a single maelstrom cycle. this is also a highly contested place since there is a good chunk of gold/coal/obsidian/forge of the first man/free weapons nearby.

It's faster in the pools using figurines if you have many, there's a certain spot there that causes beasts to freeze. They just stand without moving at all and after a while they attack the thrall but leave player alone. Probably small glitch, but very useful.

the dragon under him gives u a greater each time as well. if u run around and do the chest in the area u can get 1000 in a hour or two matters how lucky u are tbh.

Yes I mentioned that I think better do the boss 4 times ( 15 min per 1 ) and get 16 shining and 4 greater in 1h so it's more than 1000

Theres even even better now with the dupe glitch you dupe the status of the blood moon and then spend hours summoning it and harvesting lightning essence ^^

It's not changing anything , oil dont gives more try yourself and see if u can get more with pick axe with oil but sickle will give 3 even without oil try it and let me know
