Hey Tim thanks for the shout out on the walk around video. The first CO-OP models were ironically models 1 and 2. The drivtrain was Dodge with Chrysler engines. Marketing was through the Indiana Farmer's CO-OP later sold to Cockshutt. Cockshutt sold both lines for a few years. Happy to educate your viewers on agricultural history. AL B.

I'm a collector of the "Lower Pecking Order" of tractors, AC, MM and Oliver. I like them for various reasons, one of which they are more unique, not just another green and yellow or red tractor. Those AC "U"s are fairly rare and if were a few hundred miles further east would have brought a lot more then any of the other ones. I do wish you would have filmed the other two U's selling. I am also partial to older IHC pickups like the one that sold there on the 8th. Someone on the Allis Chalmers Forum had posted the auction and I was hoping you would be at that sale as it's close to your home and had interesting vehicles. Thanks for posting the video!

The Mercedes looked to be pretty nice. With their bullet proof engines they seem to be able to sit for years but can bought to life with little effort. That model has a vacuum controlled pump diaphragm made from leather which can fail making the engine hard to start (causing starter failure) and lots of smoke. That's usually what i find when a dead 240 or 300 D is bought in for attention .

So you took what was behind curtain number one LS to Blue tarp on red white Ford. Unless the windshield was out of it or something it probably would have brought more if they took the tower off of it. Good buy all the same.

The buyers had control of the prices across the whole auction, glad you got the orange and white F150, not much of a Ford guy but always liked that body style. As for the tractor prices Crazy D must have been there, the diesel 4WD Ford was a great buy.

Someone got a good deal on the International. Those trucks were way overbuilt and practically indestructible. If it’s a runner it can probably be sold, cleaned up, for $3,000-$4,000.

Believe the Massey-Harris was a 44-6 - w/226 ci Continental. Logged a few hours on ours in my teens. Strong engine and running gear but brakes were horrible. I see the "mystery tractor" really IS a Co-Op.

@@mr.goodpliers6988 Because I specialise in Pre 1980 Mercedes I use Old style analysers a lot . I have 7 here at the moment and someone offered me a Sun today. They are really useful when trying to sort running faults on engines with the bosch mechanical injection. 😉

Why is it a hoard? I believe that some of these farmers took advantage of govt aid and they abused the help that was given to them. There is no way in hell that a small time farmer could ever amass all those tractors cars trucks implements w/o cheating the system. All these vehicles are strewn all over the property. One broke down they left it there and went and got another one didn't fix it. The govt just gave them another one. Shame on them and the worthless system that favors them and I bet that they would complain about a single woman with kids on welfare.
